( There's some miners that can mine both Bitcoin and Litecoin, by virtue of either a chip that can mine both - i.e. from Gridseed, SFARDS - or being a box with separate mining boards. ) Title: Re: Mining bitcoins or litecoins? litecoin using scrupt (https://litecoin.info/Scrypt) basically this means, that if you want to mine with ASIC (nothing else is profitable anymore), you have to decide to buy SHA or scrypt HW. how much really depends on your electricity cost, luck and initial budget.
