Looks like the brainwallets were simply no good idea. Too easy to hack. But i miss the other features now. For example fast verification of signatures. Coinig is not good alternative. I hope he didn't loss anything, these guys sure must have tons of BTC everywhere they create a wallet at.

I don't think you can use a blank password by accident. I mean why would you trust some entity to take care of your money again in your life when finally with Bitcoin you can be your own bank. I always looked at online wallets as some kind of online banks anyways.

Users think that their keys are save because their phase is long and unpreditable. I think most phases that people uses aren't. I feel sorry for those lost coins, expensive lesson. :-[
