Title: i would like some help with solo mining logistics :) Post by: nonbody on August 08, 2015, 07:59:11 AM if i am solo mining (just for the lolz) do my miners have to solve an entire block from scratch or simply find the wining hash to get the reward?

They are one and the same. If you find the winning hash that satisfies the network difficulty, then your block solution is broadcast to the network and, if not orphaned, is added to the blockchain.
