Title: [2015-08-07] Blockchain.info: Satoshi’s Bitcoins Have not Moved
Post by: tyz on August 08, 2015, 09:59:09 AM
Recently, Bitcoiners became aware that Blockchain.info displayed bitcoins supposedly controlled by Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, as being sent to another bitcoin address. As theories ran wild, many quickly pointed out that other block explorers did not show this transaction.

Blockchain.info has plenty of bugs for quite a long time now, it's getting embarrassing knowing that they don't get fixed. Long live blockr.io!!

What is this zero confirmation spoof that they keep talking about?
It was fairly harmless in this case, but could it have some malicious applications? Blockchain.info should get it fixed as soon as possible.

I doubt whether they will ever move.  ;D

These wallets were created in 2009, when the Bitcoins were worth next to nothing. Even in 2010, the exchange rate was like 1$ = 0.0008 BTC. Those guys who did the mining in 2009, probably threw away their coins.
