Title: Hashcoins Triton miner?
Post by: usao on August 08, 2015, 10:01:17 PM
Does anyone know if this is legit? Any first-hand experience with this company?
It's interesting as it can be put on a PCIe bus without having an external box/power. I like that feature.

Try reading through this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417623
tl;dr as far as the Triton goes, it's been a "pre-order" item since at least May 2014.  At the time, their site noted that delivery of items would be August 2014 (generic) and for the Triton specifically: "Guaranteed HashCoins Triton, Aris and Notus Scrypt Asic Miners Delivery Dates – Batch 1. All of the 250 units from HashCoins first production batch are guaranteed for delivery by November 30, 2014."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it isn't 2014 anymore.

Somebody with a claim to an order back in April hasn't been back on this board since May.

Draw your own conclusions :)
