In my role as escrow i was asked to act as a seller and sell an account as a service including creating the sales thread. I agreed to do this and i intend to do it as perfectly as possible. :P

Description:

For sale is a bitcointalk.org forum account. Including private key for a posted bitcoin address. And including a membership in a closed (no new members) signature campaign.

It's a money making business too since you can earn the minimum bid in one week already when you bought this account and post quality posts. Quick turnaround for your investment.

If you want to join another signature campaign, that is not full already, then this would be no problem with the post quality too.

First some technical details:

• Position: Full Member
• Activity: around 150
• Posts:  around 190
• Registered: Late 2014

Reputation:

• No trust rating at all, no negative, no untrusted feedback.
• No scam accusations.
• No open loans.
• No campaign bans.
• No forum bans that i could have found.
• I did not find the account involved in anything controversial.
• Signed message stating the seller sold to the buyer. The private key of the address that the message was signed with is sold too. You can create your own verifications then. As if you are the original owner.

Quality:

• The account has a postquality of grade A to A+. Most posts are done in Bitcoin Discussion Subforum.
• The account is already in a good (for that forum position) signature campaign that cant be joined anymore because its full.
• Avatar is possible
• Signed message that proofs the ownership of buyer.
• Of course, because you get the private key for the address, you dont need to change the signature campaign address since the campaign is using the same address. Obviously that is up to you since it would be not only you who can access funds in that address.

Red Trust Prevention

Since you know, some members give sold accounts negative once they know it was sold. In order to protect the buyer i did some precautions:

• I negotiated with the seller that he doesnt change the password and i dont change the password either. The buyer can take up to 4 weeks to change the password. This prevents the red message, stating that the password was changed, that appears in trust area AND in security log of the forum. So its very hard to find out which account was sold. I can either hold the funds until buyer changes the password, or, since the buyer got the private key, he can always proof that he owns the account.
• I wont tell the account name to interested buyers nor will i show the account to anyone but the buyer that has paid the price for the account at the end. I asked the seller to do the same too.

Who shouldnt bid?

Anyone who cant write english properly or doesnt know what it means to post constructive posts. No spammers obviously too. It simply would be a waste to burn that account with that technique.

Everyone bidding with an account less than a member has to show me a signed message with an address holding at least the amount he bid. I can help with how this is done.

But auction extends 2 days after the last bet was done. If in 48 hours no new bid comes in then the last bid wins. Minimum Bid Increment will prevent misuse.

The current bid is undervalued for an account that can create the bid price in one week back in. That's a 5200% annual return per year.

So when you know how to write constructive posts, that means don't post if you don't have something of value to say, then you can earn with this account. I know that such an income would be huge in a big number of countries.

Sorry i can't accept bids on promises and your member level needs you to proof that you own the coins you bid.

It's allowed. Actually i don't like that accounts are sold either, but mostly because they could be used for scamming. But i believe at the end it's better this happens openly instead in silent. Because then it might be that members would be way less aware of account sales going on. They would still go on but scammers would have an easier time.

Yeah, I would never negative a sold account. I just think them getting a neutral is a good idea is all.

0.0925 Bitcoins for full member account is a good price! OP, do you charge any fee for offering this service? IMO many ppl may be interested at asking you for help to sell their accounts.

You should read his first post on this thread. He has clearly mentioned that this account is with a Grade A Post Quality and included in a full signature campaign.

So if you have good quality account then you can sell it for that price I think.

Unfortunately i gave up on escrowing accounts or selling them. Only a couple i will still do where i promised to. Exceptions are only valuable accounts that are worth at least $50 as a single account, not bulk price.

The reason is that the amount of time i lately had to invest into escrowing accounts is simply way too much to move on. And the protection i can give is, with the mostly low prices, miniscule.

But i opened a thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159502.new#new where i gave away my templates so that other escrows, who want to raise their trust, can use them or get ideas from them. I think it would be a good idea to ask in that thread when you search an escrow who can offer that service.  I'm sure there are escrows who will get established and would do it. :)
