Title: Looking for people to help me develop my ALTCOIN project
Post by: bolivarcoin on August 09, 2015, 06:25:24 AM
Hello, i need people to help me to develop my altcoin project, i am not a programer.

All you need to do is to get any opersource software and configure so it can be used with my altcoin.

I can pay by bitcoin, please not a high price, as im doing this for free and im not going to get a profit from this.

In priority order, what i need is:

1 A mining pool.

2 A wallet for mac and linux

3 Set up a block explorer

4 A wallet for mobile phone

5 A web walltet

6 A Faucet linked to the wallet

7 ....

Please only reply if you can prove you have the experience necessary to do it

If you do it for free or for a reasonable price i will add your real name as a contributor to this project

If you charge for your work, your name not be on the project, i believe it can help somehow with your curriculum if this become big.

Any question here,

thanks all

Try and go for cryptopa.co.nz (I see you on Yobit, which is a scam exchange (I assert))

buy your self on with Dotcoin, pay the very last 5 seconds, maybe 1,000,000 DOT. That is about 0.15 BTC

miningalts.com for a Mac wallet

You don't need a Linux wallet, but the one you had was compiled on a 64 bit computer, it won't work  on a 32 bit one.

(I guess I had could recompile it if you want)

I saw your explorer, a top of the range job. If you paid for a short time, switch to miningalts.com (above). He is not as expensive and provides the necessary information on a good explorer

Edit

I see you are on  hashpower.co

They will dump every coin they mine, I'd make my own pool if I was you or contact ispace if you want a multipool. (some may disagree)

It will cost you about 20 dollars for hosting for a pool  a month. You  could get cheaper but it  will be less stable.

The Nomp template is simple to just redsign, but you stick to the general layout. You get  rid of that horrible man and change the colours, font, and add your  logo. Change a few font awesome icons. You get rid of the majority of the nomp self promotion but leave a line for him.

Make sure you back up the first pool.

You re Hirocoin, so copy the hirocoin json in "Coins" and replace the details with yours.

You can also get some brilliant addons, templates, bootstraps, but they cost money.

If You can't make one yourself, pay 10-15 dollars (for the set up, not including adapting  the pool to look okay).

Be careful,  some people here  will sell your  skin for 10 satoshi.

Familiarise yourself with

nodejs
redis-stable

and a wonderful function called "screen"

As if you asking for advice on how to do an altcoin it's not a bad sign already.

If you plan on creating half-assed coin just stop right now. We don't need another pump and dump shitcoin, market is already saturated with these.
But if you really wish to bring something new and fresh to the table, go for it. I just don't think something unique can be done without really skilled team  of developers.

if you have not the right programming skills or a good team around you, you should better use a service like coincreator.

Why you think that we need another altcoin ? What's so special about this ? And claim that your not going to make money on the coin isn't that the whole idea of making an altcoin ?
