Title: Antminer S4+ Setup
Post by: BeardedGuy83 on August 11, 2015, 02:41:06 PM
Recently Bought Some Antminer S4+ with the new PSU units

I'm in north america so our standard is 110v not the 205V needed to power these units up

What kind of cord, and circuit box do i need to install to get these to power up and work properly in NA?

The first thing I would look up  is if your able to do it yourself.  It depends on your local rules/laws.   You might need to get a electrician.

But in short need a 220/240 breaker, I believe it's 12 gauge wire if I remember proper, and you will need a receptacle.   As far as "circuit box" if you need to put in a new box get a electrician.

There's no such thing as a 220v breaker. Power is North America is 120v/240v. If you're getting 220v or 230v you've got a crappy power utility company.

Wire a 15A 240v circuit using 14 gauge wire.  You'll be good for 2x S4+ with that.
