Any website with real time stats on how the hashing power is in core and then on XT for comparison? i have been waiting for someone to give me a link like this but I cant find it. Please tell me how to understand what nodes are winning this battle.

Yeah, it's not full, but where were you when there was that so called "stress test" aka blockchain spam attack? Mem pool was insanely flooded and bigger blocks would be welcomed.
Maybe there's a better solution, like what Coblee did with ltc for that sort of attack, but i don't mind 8mb block also.

cheers

^ Yeah slap that bitch. I am sure she was pro big blocks.

That whole Bitcoin XT was such a scam in my opinion it was really publish like "this is the real bitcoin, get in fast, get double coin". In reallity it was just another shitcoin  ::)

Well you can't think like that. Bitcoin is created to be a cheap solution to sending vast funds worldwide with insanely low fee. By increasing fee's in order
to get confirmations, we are just giving spammers(which could potentially be big miners) a reason to increase/prolong the attack.
The best way is to deal with this problem with a fix, whatever it is, and not give in to extortion.

cheers

bitcoin is a network.

when you use internet, you pay internet provider and modem system and ethernet cable and network card ...

P2P network are NOT FREE OF CHARGE, they are FREE OF USE.
P2P file sharing request upload to download, simple fact ...

but P2P system don't restrict people, that's why "PAY THE FEES" is not a problem when you have a non-restricted thing.
