Introducing BitcoinRates  (http://www.bitcoinrates.in/)which shows the bitcoin buy/sell rates at all bitcoin exchanges in India so that users can maximize their profits. Also if any arbitrage opportunity is present will also be shown.

Please provide feedback and any more data/feature required.

While calculating INR have you considered all exchange costs ?

Site is good, however you dont seem to have included fees in your calculation. Also for lbc, i have a cheaper option to buy compared to from your data. something to do with trusted ads i guess?

In all my time using bitcoins this site is one of the best i have seen. simple yet superbly efficient. before i used to open 6-7 tabs and it was such a waste of time and logging in everywhere. now this is 1 site and yet brilliant.

and the best thing about bitcoins is the fact of tipping for which this is a classic example. and the ease of paying you for your service which using a credit card i would have thought 10 times. keep up the good work.

a feature request can be manual entry of fees, but if it makes the site cluttered, dont put it there.

LBC data i would prefer a little tailored, as i am not interested selling to someone sending money through paypal, but then that is an individual choice.

once again superb implementation.

On another note, didn't know of zebpay sell rate, but if that is what it is going to be, i think it is fantastic.

Arbitrage is the market activity; It will always give an opportunity and never dry out. Check the traditional exchanges of NSE and BSE or check the international Bitcoin exchanges.

Not only Bitcoin or stocks ; arbitrage is given an opportunity in any market/in any commodity/good in the world.

Site really good but LBC price is really too different then actual.

Other thing there is no need for post arbitrage opportunity without fee because without fee there will be no real chance to arbitrage.

P.S. I can buy in LBC @17049 and can only sell 16446.


P.S.S. try to use LBC API for buying selling through Bank in India. It will give better result.

Nice work. I think, it is better to remove iGot from the list. They are now more or less a known scam.

I hadn't used them for last 3 months and even then it was a horrible break up with them, but surprisingly to test them sent across 1000 rupees yesterday to see what they are upto and the inr was credited within an hour and btc withdrawl almost instantly. was pleasantly surprised.

However, the price advantage doesn't seem to be there for them anymore escpecially after zebpay and even lbc to some extent (which is another ridiculous thing).

I have seen it only on my phone yet but clicking on N for lbc is not getting me the option to set custom fees.

It's perfect now, arbitrage means we buy/sell almost instantly. That is why I refer use National bank transfer.

Mostly people use bank transfer for buying and selling even on  LBC too.

I started working on exactly this in July but have been struggling with cleaning up the LBC json.

Do you calculate the average or just the lowest?
What about volume available? Because one problem I found is there are often very less btc for sale on lbc with a seller.
How are you polling zebpay prices?

I think you should use a different range for Y axis on graph. If it was me, my range would have been 10% lower than the lowest and 10% higher than the highest. Then you can clearly see the movement among various exchanges / trading platforms. As of now, the lines are so close by that you cannot differentiate in spite there is up to 5% difference in prices.

Also when you are comparing in this way, you should take an average price of certain number of bitcoin when you get price from exchanges. Else you will have not so relevant data if some one is bidding say 0.05 btc for a crazy price.

Based on the stats and average price per order I have from Unocoin, i would suggest this certain number of bitcoin be 1 BTC.

Can you add USD and EURO as well ?

Few suggestions
- Add a small text showing last updated time
- hyperlink the exchange names
- Ability for select 30min/1h/12h/24h in graph .

Great, the graphs look better now. However, if i am seeing correctly, the graphs are displaying rates before fees. Is that right. Can they display prices after fees?

Oh and everytime the page is refreshing the graphs are defaulting to 1 hr. Can that be changed. Sending you another tip soon!!

The graph after fees for arbitrage profits i believe is using the standard fees settings, and not default fees setting. Is that right? if so can that be amended to custom fees?

Why you are not able to show data from btcxindia ?

Oh.. they send the dynamic key through email - so there is a complicated way of adding this. May be you can contact them to see if they can provide an api :)

LocalBitcoins fee is not 0%. Selling cost is 1%.

Why does IGOT still exists on you site when it has scammed people and there is a separate complaint threat against IGOT? You can remove it or specify trade at your own risk with IGOT.

This project is really looking nice ... Would be great if you can display an average INR price in big fonts

For Unocoin - You are only calculating fees , they also charge tax. So effective one has to pay more then what your data shows and same goes with sell.

thats incorrect for unocoin. 14.5 is on the transaction charge of 1 %. not on the whole amount. so set it to 1.103195 approx.

INR amount multipliplied by 1.01145 is correct.
For the sell side, it would be multiplication by 0.98855

all data seems really weird today. for multiple exchanges

say for btcxindina price was showing 25300, whereas on the actual website lowest price available was for 25500. same was with zebpay.
It corrected a few mins after i posted, so i thought maybe you had done something

@OP I do not know if u store historical data or not. If you do, could u plz check and say whether the highest Sell Rate(Rs.)-Fees has ever gone above 30,000 INR in 2016?

Thanks for the data. It seems like, there is a psychological barrier at 30,000 INR in 2016 among Indian. By the way, I do not count iGot rate as authentic. Apart from them, the max sale rate after fees seems to have never gone above 30,000 INR before 2016-02-21. Even after that day, Indian sellers have steadily maintained the 30,000 INR max cap.

Couple of queries:

1) There were so many issues with IGOT and complain on this board. There was warning as well which is now removed form site. Has all the issue being resolved ?
2) Who is the owner of bitxoxo and who all is involved in their management ?
3) Have you traded on the site and their 100% verification being done?

Thanks for the clarification. Instead of mentioning the due diligence part right at the bottom is not a very good idea. Place it right in the top so that users are aware that your site is just for guide purpose and do not trade blindly seeing it. Though couple of them are very well reputed and has being existed for over a year now so no issues with them atlest.

Now you have mentioned again Avoid IGOT. Actually why dont you remove IGOT its a clear scam since all exchanges are around 53000+ selling and IGOT selling at 44000. Isn't this itself alarming.  

Can you create another seprate row just for igot and do not combine with the genuine one as you are actually keep the bad with good ones which itself is unfair for the best exchanges in India.

It would be great if they would just create another section for scam sites like igot to be distinguished by the ones who are genuinely working.

Yes no doubt only site where you get all the information at one place. Only thing now is that IGOT a scam site needs to be moved away from the site or needs to be create a separate section and place in that section rather than placing with the best exchanges of India and genuine ones at present.

If there is even 1% chance that site can be scammed, then you must not show in your site, who is experienced know about avoiding of IGot but who is newbie on bitcoin world can be buy after see in your site for arbitrage. So better remove IGot asap.

Just 1 question which exchange and people will sell less then 15-17% of market rates when there is other easily available option.

Even if I am owner of IGot I will buy myself all bitcoin there and sell 30% over there in other exchange.

Not sure how is the review and their clients base as hardly people have talked about this site other than the scam section. Nor do they have opened the thread and providing all the details like Bitxoxo has done which is also new exchange in India now.

However when I did a look up on Bitxoxo there isn't even an option to log in/ sign up/ buy or sell with an error message to say that it has been temporarily suspended (since the last two weeks). Trybitcoin on the other hand is a fully functional site actively in service. Due diligence required before comments.

Sounds like a fair comment... all the best with the consolidated rates platform.

I think it is fair enough to hold for a while and if there are no complaints and scams regarding particular site than only you should be including in your consolidation. Its a great effort required to maintain and having the proper diligence check before you include in your site.

This is amazing service! I have been purchasing lots of btc this month in small lot and therefore need to check price at different exchanges to get the best rate.Checking price at all different exchanges is very tiring and boring job.Your sete saves me lots of time and money too

Excellent website for Indians, can easily get the rates before selling or buying.
As far as I have checked, the only problem is the speed of the website, every minute the whole website gets reloaded n it's kinda irritating.

Can you increase the historical data limit from last 24 hours to a week or a month maybe?

I happened to check the site and there seems to be an issue with Paxful price onthe site. The sell rate is displaying amount of 545000+ and the buy rate is around 338000+. Kindly rectify this issue .

Also why does it happen that once I delete one of the exchanges and close the site and open backed again it appears again. Is it only for that particular time it will be deleted or it should be off till the time I add it back? Is it issue from your side or I need to look into something for this.

You might have missed to make an announcement that there is being an addition to the site by adding an ThroughBit . Though not sure anything about that site as there is no thread of introduction done by those people here on this forum. Has anybody heard of that site previously or have any experience of dealing with them?
