It should tell you how much time you got banned , if it dosen't it may mean it's permanant I suppose . Or there should be an appeal adress , use it and wait for an answer before posting on the META . if you're asking this I assume the ban message didn't specify how long you have to wait before the ban is lifted, which means that you got perma-banned. your only option is to wait for months before coming back and make an appeal. but there are some cases where a ban won't be lifted no matter how long you wait.
