this is an interesting read for those of you who follow zero hedge. He is stating the obvious (financial markets are rigged, economic indicators are manipulated, etc) and asking for real suggestions on how we can chane the world for the better. One main problem is the money these bankers/governments/militaries control. The money gives them power to do anything, buy anything, and buy anyone. So how could btc make a difference? If the elite are able to get into btc, I don't see how it would be any different than the current system in place. Title: Re: How can btc make a difference? I guess most possibly it will only become a medium of saving, e.g. people no longer save using fiat money, but only bitcoin

Anonymity has helped me made important transactions privately causing no tension in my area of field, and that was a nice advantage for me. Also, anonymity gives an everyday person the right to keep their privacy limited and I think its nobody's business to know what I am spending money on, except the person who is holding it, which is me :P Title: Re: How can btc make a difference? Bitcoin cannot change the social-economic formation. It is only a currency (not yet accepted, or worst, ignored but most of the countries) and its duty is to serve for buying goods and only in internet. That's all. Money is just another more civilized and refined way to take what they would still take and do what they would still do, even without money... So how could btc make a difference? If the elite are able to get into btc, I don't see how it would be any different than the current system in place. Thereby, Bitcoin can't make a difference as you understand it. But the usage is depends to the owner, especially you can buy almost stuff out there with bitcoin. |
