I'm going to have to say no for now, the $13 resistance is going to take some time to go through.

Of course not. The light-speed delay will mean more stale blocks. Although non-mining nodes may go to the Moon, all the hashing action is going to remain on Earth until the InterplanetartyCoin fork (with day-long confirmation times) gains acceptance.

He who controls the spice, controls the Bitcoin!
Best spices on Silkroad Visual Basic 5 Pfizer Onion lol

They sure control Bitcoin. My Moom does not understand this.

Is the price going to skyrocket? Maybe, but without real market under that it will crash again and speculators will panic sell them.

If you look closely at some of the photos from the Apollo 11 missions, you can clearly see that bitcoins were already there.

Thus, Satoshi was obviously an alien as we have often surmised.

Where there is Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining there are always worms.

Since the moon is (by treaty) not under the jurisdiction of any government, that would be the perfect place for bitcoins.

I made a rough calculations and the ping for node located on Moon will be about 1500. Back in days when I started using internet with 56k modem the ping of 700-2000 was a norm. If there is enough bandwidth for transaction relaying it will work. The solar arrays can give free electricity for ASIC mining.

More space cookies please!  :P

Gundam 00 tells us that the moon will be hollowed out for the purpose of building a mega computer for the purpose mining beyond 51% so that the Gundam may control the bitcoin and bring peace to humanity.

What, the moon?

Is there any reason to speculate on this? Has NASA announced they will install a webserver there with a active node?

...

Next step: Distributing the blockchain to the entire universe.

What is a moom?
They are mushrooms (related to shrooms) that only grow on the moon. They normally eat only cheese, but at night when the moon comes out they will sneak out and eat bitcoins.
