What?
Predict what the 1 billionth bet will roll.



How?
Post here.

Prediction of roll is to be made with 2 decimal places. Eg. 12.34, 99.99, 67.18
One roll can be predicted only once. If there are more than one same prediction, only the first will be valid.


Qualification.
To prevent abuse and protect the interests of DD players, only those who have made a:

• total deposit of at least 0.05BTC and
• total wager of at least 0.1BTC

will be able to participate in the contest.

You don't have to be an existing player. All you have to do is meet the requirements. :)
That said, multiple accounts are not allowed to enter. Strictly, one entry per person.

There are no activity level requirements, anyone with any rank can participate.

Abusing the contest with multiple accounts will not, however be tolerated.

Edited entries will be disqualified. One entry per person.
However, a reasonable degree of flexibility is allowed.

From now to when the 1 billionth roll is made.


How?
I will be managing this thread.


Other details.
Prizes will be credited to your Da Dice account.
There is no advantage in waiting for the last minute. Book your prediction before someone else picks it. ;)

How is the winner determined?
The one whose prediction is the closest to the roll wins. Second prize to the second closest and so on.

In other words, the minimum of the absolute value of the difference between the prediction roll and the actual roll wins.

The contest was approved by the original owner, and there was no plan to sell the site at that time, either. I did not act beyond my authority and all info. including the prize amounts were discussed before opening the thread. Da Dice was sold to a new owner. In effect the responsibility for honoring all contests were of course passed on to the buyer. The responsibility for all expenses were passed on to the buyer. Only this particular contest was denied AFAIK on the grounds that he was not aware of it?! lol, I thought this thread was public.

IMO, 1.85BTC (I was 4th  ;D) is more deserved than the roll ones.

It is quite beyond me why he would refuse to honor this. ??? It was actually expected for him to honor, as no one would really mess the things up after buying it for a fraction of the amount..

I will talk to this guy. But no guarantees.

i wagered over 0.7btc, but only deposited 0.039btc before, so I deposited 0.015B to qualify minimum 0.05btc deposit, and after I deposited it, I rolled here and lost them, if I didn't see this promo, i wouldn't deposit 0.015B here and bet, so it is very logical to compensate me if he won't pay the bounty(I am 11th so I will get 0.05B bounty, it can cover my loss)

That was initially my idea as well. But then, some of the participants are not that active here, some just joined bitcointalk.org because of the contest. So we didn't want to keep about 90% of participants waiting, because of these three.

This is another best decision to process the payments.There was no sense to hold the payment for long time.It will help restore the trust on dadice on long run.I appreciate this decision.
