Title: Mining hardware question. Opinions sought.
Post by: rmhuntley on August 23, 2015, 08:09:42 AM
I was thinking of dropping a fairly small amount of cash on some scrypt asics.  I'm looking at two different setups.  Setup #1 is 20 gridseeds, number 2 is a G-blade. Of those two setups, which do y'all think would be the wisest? and Why?

I really like the g-blades.  Over the years I have had 25 of them.  I have only had one blade go bad.  They are quiet, compared to say an A2 machine.  Easy to mine with and don't generate a lot of heat.  I have never had any of the gridseeds, just the g-blades and the g-blacks.

g-blade, provided you can get it cheap, i have seen gridseeds for for 10 dollars each, however you cable management for 20 will be a mission and a half, i would go simple even if you lose a few khs :)
