That Toronto Bitcoin Meetup effectively turned into an Ethereum Meetup... Where the core BTC veterans could probably easily come up with $5-10 million to launch... Then raising another $10 million from around the world. These people took a big risk at about $0.30/ETH which today trades at about $1.35... In addition, the Canadians made another 30% on the USDCAD exchange since 2013. But I can assure you the Founders are not selling... They have a 3 year plan, unlimited funding from venture, a super-liquid crypto... And are the only crypto with a good shot at dethroning BTC within 2 years. I was thinking the insiders bought large allocations of ETH from the presale then proceeded to dump them on the clueless when it was listed in the exchanges. Of course it was hyped and the people bought it. Now that there is this possibility that Vitalik senior was involved, I wouldn't be surprised if it was so... So basically they funded it mostly themselves then profited for it. It's a good plan, and I have nothing against it. But how is the Ethereum wallet/software? If it's any good then good job overall.
