I can't seem to find any thread about Agar.io here. Agar.io is a very popular browser based game that started this year. There's lot of skin to choose from. There's even one which is "Doge". I searched for a list of skins for Agar.io and I found out that we can send email to the developer to suggest him or her new skin. Let's all send a email to the developer to suggest Bitcoin logo as skin? This will definitely bring Bitcoin to another level if there's lot of Bitcoiner playing. Recently, I managed to promote my Bitcoin related site on Agar.io with fourth in ranking on a SEA Server. :).

thats a good idea for promoting though it might be hard to contact the developer as he most probably gets a lot of suggestions when the game got really popular

Agar.io is fun to play when you're searching for ways to kill time. I always see that 'doge' skin every time I play it, and I see my colleagues got a little bit interested on the origin of the meme and searched it on the internet. Given that there are always thousands of players playing in different servers in different times, playing with a bitcoin skin could actually raise the interest of players on bitcoin and try to learn more about it.

It might be hard but as a community, we will be able to do it. :).

agar.io was bought by Miniclip. Try contacting them, I don't think they're dedicating much of their staff to development of agar.io after the purchase though so your request will probably fall on deaf ears.

Yes why not , that could be a good idea however and instead of spamming the developper with shitload of emails you should use Change.org and get signature from people , it shouldn't be too hard I'am pretty sure a lot of people supports the idea (use Reddit and bitcointalk to collect them)

Yeah, that's actually a good idea. Someone will curious with the logo and try to find it at Google, just like I did with a logo on Agar.io ;D

I don't think so. It has no effects to Bitcoin. It's just a random game, people play it for 1 hour then stop.

But not for me, maybe I was too curious :D

I play for a minute and I am addicted for a month. I play it everyday using my phone with their android app by miniclip.

For those of you that like the idea behind agar.io, there's a similar game you might like, and they have a bitcoin skin (https://i.imgur.com/LU931kF.png). It's called mitos.is (http://mitos.is/) and it's out for IOS, Android and PC through steam.

Mitos.is used to be exactly like agar.io (before it was bought by Miniclip and 'offensive' plus copyrighted or political skins were removed). but it's developers seem to be more talented and dedicated. Right nor mitos.is is very well optimised and has many more features including: music, clans, team modes that  have much more suspense, capture the flag, a level system that makes sense, an in-game credit that can be earned by playing, items that enhance your statistics and all the skins of agar.io has plus those removed along with a few extra additions.

This is a good news that a game have Bitcoin skin for player for free. Indeed, the developers is better as they have Bitcoin skin - LoL.

That is very good idea mate, BitCoin might get many users in future if possible.Shall we spam the dev in order to add the bitcoin skin in agario?(jk). I'm playing agar.io recently, But i really lag so hard, would you mind giving me some instruction to prevent it?

Preventing lag in agar.io? Well, only thing I can think of would be to switch to another server. I also lag when trying to play in American servers since I'm in Europe. The game isn't really optimised to handle high ping well, absolutely no movement prediction at all, crazy high lag spikes even with a slightly high ping.
