Most Alts struggle to gain traction for people to use as a method of payment or (like maidsafe) to be used for their other purpose.

However if you are talking about a coin that has connections with media types or business types there is more chance that they will find someone or some team who can provide them with the 'magical' attribute that could enable their coin to hit mainstream. So is it scamming?
Same applies to a coin with a wealthy backer - they can buy the above, effectively.

Well such bullshit announcement trying to get people to buy their coin screams like the devs being a pump and dumper.. all those who bought and holded for a month are all down. max keiser doesnt give a shit he just wants people to buy his shitcoin and you are too naif to get that. you just dont go around litterally telling people to buy your coin..that screams like a cheap 2004 cash for gold scam.

Now, you wouldn't knowingly support a scam again would you?

It's not like Max haven't tried before. But this time I'm sure his magic powers will succeed. Or maybe they work exactly like he wants already. Making himself rich by pumping and dumping.

I know you Monero fans enjoy spamming BCT ALT with numerous threads and posts claiming that every other coin is a 'scam'. But, how are MAX and Start scams, exactly? OK, MAX had a totally inept launch - but your inability to do a simple Linux compile does not make a coin a 'scam'! Why shouldn't Keiser use his influence as he sees fit? You use whatever tools you have to hand to promote your coin.

Yes, that's what scammers do. They knowingly pump an inferior product with the sole intention to gain an early holding and dumping in on others and leaving it to go on to the next product they sell.

So that is how it's a scam. Your inability to grasp this shows that you are either supporting a scam, which makes you a scammer yourself or you are blind to what a scam is.
But your prior history of supporting known scams is quite telling.

"All Altcoins" Only a bitcoin fanboy can talk like this.  Worse then a religion war is the Bitcoin war. And War never changes...

I also agreed with you not all altcoins are created to scam people there are some who came only for this purpose.

Not as telling as yours, with your scammy signature.

Yes. When Start went from around $0.07 to around $0.20 it was actually being (paid) promoted on the first page of Bittrex. That's when there was the upswing.

I have two heavy bags that would really like Keiser to use his 'influence' again, and soon. (Bittrex promotions... hint hint)

In truth Startcoin has zero utility that Bitcoin doesn't already have. You can use Start to invest on Banktothefuture and that was virtually their whole thing, but you can use BTC anyway, so there's not much point... especially when the price tanked.

I agree with what the OP said, irresponsible to tell investors to buy it.

Max Keiser's StartCoin has my endorsement also.

I went through the source and it's clean.
