Title: What are good alternatives cryptocurrency boards?
Post by: tyz on August 28, 2015, 09:18:51 PM
I am looking for good alternative cryptocurrency boards to BitcoinTalk.org. I already tried CryptoCoinTalk.com. Are there others you can recommend?

I don't know of any crypto board that is as good as bitcointalk, but you can try looking here:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Forums
some of them are actually not a forum.

I use CryptoBoard (https://cryptoboard.org) from time to time. It's considerably smaller than BCT but it's a good community.

Almost everybody in crypto-currency community use Bitcointalk. Pretty much the whole discussion is being running here.
I checked out other forums, they don't have enough userbase. Their users are also already here.

CryptoCoinTalk.com used to be the go-to board for altcoin announcements. I don't think there's any other board with significant traffic and daily posts on general alternative currency topics. Darkcoin's (sash) forum has quite a sum of users, paycoin's forum (funnily enough) has a lot of people still posting but as the altcoins started declining so did the rest of the forum.

From what I've seen all other forums are dead apart from here. Why would you even want to go anywhere else than here?

I suppose that sometimes BCT gets a little boring; other small communities deserve a chance, too.

Boring? This forum is never boring. Always active and there's always drama happening every day. It's the only forum you can easily earn some bitcoins relatively easy. I signed up for a few forums when I first got into bitcoin but only made a few posts on them as this forum is by far superior in every way.

Also I think it attests to BCT's popularity that the OP is posting here asking where to find other forums. There may be other good forums, but if one (BCT) already has the majority of people, what would you think you would find at another one? Perhaps a friendly environment, but information wise I think this would be it.

Hey guys  :D,

I have a recommendation. Maybe you can consider AltCoin.Space (http://www.altcoin.space) it is a small community but it is built for mobile devices. This makes it responsive to every screen size available. It also offers a 5 USD fee for new coins that want a website associated to their new alt. Head over and take a look.

Rex,
