The most flexible way to do would be to go to Localbitcoins , and sell bitcoins with a payment method you wish to use. This way you can ask the buyer to send the money to the other person's account.
Obviously you shoudl be aware it will likely be not reversible after sending the amount.

I believe thats because on the receiving end we won't always have a person who knows about bitcoin is wants to spend the time to convert bitcoin into cash for a small amount.

If you want to send money only then their are lot of ways like Neteller , Skrill, Etc. This 2 option are very good for sending money from india to any abroad places, in that Neteller policy is very secure. And even nowthey have added the deposit option of Bitcoin so now you can deposit Bitcoin in neteller and convert it to money and send any one .

Then we are essentially talking about the remittances through bitcoin but the bitcoin component is hidden and the sender or receiver need not know that bitcoin was used as the medium of transfer.

Yes if your sending money for some personal use or you know the receiving person well then you can use western union money transfer. If for unknown person then do not use it method.

These days Axis bank and many other banks have made outward remittance more easily available to normal savings account holders.

This is something RBI has done in the recent few months after they made the acquisition of property on foreign soil more easy.

There is however a maximum limit to what you can send every year, don't exactly remember how much but it was in the $150k range do your research or speak to the people at your bank.

As far as I know Indian account holders are not allowed to keep funds on PayPal.All their incoming funds get auto-withdrawal to their linked bank account within 48 hours. How else one would have funds on PP without CC is not known to me

Paypal is the only option I can think of.

What exactly is your need? Sometimes it is simply easier to do a SWIFT transfer. If you're travelling then just take your debit card with you and withdraw cash from an ATM. They charge either a percentage (usually 2-4%) or a flat fee (in which case as much as you need at one go).

Will depend on which country you want to send to. If you share that info, possible you will get better answers.

I'm wondering this as well because bitcoin is the ideal way to send money around the world.  There's very little that's better.

Their are so many ways that you can send the money to any country with Neteller or Skirll, or you can even send through Bitcoins, Paypal is also their but their are so many defaults of scam / cheating that it is not recommendable . If you dont want to disclose you details and send the money then Bitcoin is the only option through which you can send the money to around the world with very less transaction charges.

If the fee is passed to you, it is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of
the amount you receive. For example, if you are sent
$100.00 USD by credit card, the fee would be $3.20 USD
($2.90 + $0.30 ). This fee also applies if you click Request
Money on the PayPal website and request money from
friends and family.(found on google)
and minimum amount you can send is .02$.
i think you got answer.

Yes thank you. Also which would be preferred way to send money other than bitcoin. If considering the fee and time taken, is paypal the best option to have?
