I am no expert but I would guess most of those domains have nearly zero value. this is my domain : http://i61.tinypic.com/13z1i8.jpg i will give all my domain as collateral for 1 - 1.5 btc repay : 1.1 btc / 10% term : 15 days I think you should probably lock this thread before someone sees that you are trying to pretend that a sale is in fact a loan (that you are being dishonest) and sends you negative trust. It is confirmed this is the case with your domains because one is "valued" at $130+ but you are selling it for only $100, yet it is still available.
There is still the fact that you are obviously trying to offload these domains through a loan. Kind Regards Panthers52 Title: Re: Need 1.5 BTC domain as collateral Post by: ahoenk on September 03, 2015, 07:41:41 PM Those automated appraisals are often incorrect and grossly inflated. And yes, domain price calculators tack on about $100-$500 to every domain's worth; in reality, I'd say each of your domains is worth about $10. If you legitimately need this loan, find other collateral. I've had domains wich gave me a yearly income of +5000$/year that were online appraised at 200-300 bucks, and domains that had almost no traffic that were appraised at 500-600 bucks... If you have a human appraisal from a trustworthy company, that's something else ;) Good luck with getting such a loan, i cannot give it to you since for me personally, the collateral is to much of a risk... Title: Re: Need 1.5 BTC domain as collateral Post by: premium_domainer on September 04, 2015, 03:01:04 PM Let me know if you have anything as a collateral except domain names. I can lend you 1.5 BTC I could do for any LLLL COM as a collateral but these domains didn't impressed me. I didn't say it's not worth b'coz enduser only knew the value of domain names ;) Title: Re: Need 1.5 BTC domain as collateral Post by: altcoinhosting on September 04, 2015, 03:16:24 PM Let me know if you have anything as a collateral except domain names. I can lend you 1.5 BTC I would accept TLD's (never got an offer tough)... Not these ones tough, and only IF google analytics is properly installed and i get a full insight + raw server logs + proof of income from that domain... Taking a domain as collateral is a lot harder than taking a lot of other stuff... It requires the lender to properly estimating how much the domain is worth... This means analyzing everything: the domain itself, the age, the past websites that used this tld, the present site, PR, alexa ratings, income, SE traffic, link partners,... Next to that, there is a technical aspect: the domain should be moved from the person taking a loan to the account (and name) of the lender... A process that takes a lot longer than just locking a bitcointalk account... An escrow is also possible, but you need an escrow that has enough knowlegde about domain transfers and stuff... Nevertheless, i think a domain CAN be good collateral, but only quality domain and only for really big loans tough, because it would be to much of a hassle for a .5 loan... Imagine somebody would offer porn.com [NSFW] as a collateral for a 50BTC loan... You would be a fool not to take it ;) |
