Title: Seriously? Negative trust for running a ponzi scheme?
Post by: Yofun on September 04, 2015, 03:32:39 AM
Negative rep for running a ponzi site that is still running?

I mean. Neg rep me when (which will never happen) the site goes down. When I scam.

But I have not scammed at all.

I mean look: I also exchange https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1163858

i think ppl from default trust assume ponzi = scam, anyways this thread should be on Meta section, move it there so it will be noticed

you can't find that because this topic is already in meta. a moderator must have moved it.

(kind of odd because sometimes I see some "move" thread that says a thread was moved to the current section... must be a mod thing.)

You want to be able to scam prior to getting negative reputation?

The trust system should be a proactive system that calls out scams, hopefully prior to them working.

Definition of a negative trust: You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer.

If you're running a ponzi I think a negative is totally justified. You will close up shop sometime and scam people, and a warning about that is good to have. Doesn't matter if you've scammed someone already, but since you probably will be ripping people off I have no problem with the negative that Vod left.

Aren't ponzi schemes illegal anyway?

I see.....well I guess I can't argue with that.

Just going to say one thing. The ponzi site isn't going anywhere.

Guess I'm not going to be trading much on this forum
