Title: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Lubaday on June 03, 2011, 06:30:34 PM This is a scam.
Hi all interested in mining! Presently I’m developing a new solution that will increase efficiency by 30% for some configurations comparing to what exists now due to special optimized algorithm. During mining software uses capabilities of CPU and GPU as well as CUDA and OpenCL when possible. For instance, my old Core2Duo notebook gave me 6Mhash/s. Presently my product is in beta-testing and then I’m going to sell it by subscription as it helps to seriously increase profit without expanding the farm. I would like to invite you for beta-testing. All beta participants will be provided with final version of miner free of charge. PM if you are interested in my offer. Thank you. PS: Linux version is coming soon too :) Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: keybaud on June 03, 2011, 06:36:50 PM Out of interest, the reason I don't use the CPU when I GPU mine is that the MH/watt isn't cost effective. I'd rather the CPU was idle than it added a few MH/s at a much higher % of the total power usage.

Your CPU mining numbers sound like what ufasoft and cpuminer can already achieve. 2xf2_org: compared to the actual versions of the most of miners Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Zagitta on June 03, 2011, 06:54:50 PM THIS IS A SCAM
How and why? it simply steals your wallet and uploads it to a remote server... Proof? here you go: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/2032/proof1l.png (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/163/proof1l.png/) IP BAN THIS F*CKER! GPU as well as OpenCL? Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Lubaday on June 03, 2011, 07:00:37 PM I don't understand what about you, my software works without any illegal actions!
Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Zagitta on June 03, 2011, 07:05:14 PM Care to explain what those two strings are doing in your application? or how about explaining what so called "optimizations" you did to achive 30%?

Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: TheSeven on June 03, 2011, 07:26:42 PM Clever idea to flag the wallet as "already uploaded" by creating a __db.000 file :)

It was only a matter of time before the script kiddies started exploiting bitcoin. He didn't even encrypt his binary! Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Freakin on June 03, 2011, 08:12:51 PM Lol this guy spam PMed me earlier today and I figured it was scam immediately.
Glad that he was publicly outed. Title: Re: New CPU&GPU Miner [beta-testing] +30% effeciency Post by: Jack of Diamonds on June 03, 2011, 08:39:39 PM If you want to deny the webmaster further employment anytime soon just report him to the church.
It's obvious the church itself hasn't gone "evangelizing" about a cryptocurrency efficiency improving client on random forums. Then again, could just be a malicious injection (based on this person's posts he doesn't even seem like a native English speaker), but should be easy enough to detect in server logs. I mean, do you want to go every week for 4 hours to hear THE SAME STORIES over and over again every year? One hour or six hours, you still get the same social exposure. Why would you go to a church with longer hours? |
