This pump that started this weekend is about to fizz out. Time to exit. Now.

Still long from $226. Market is in reaccumulation right now; I can't see it coming down from here unless demand completely dries up over the next few days. In that case stops are set to keep a slight profit.

A horizontal point and figure count of the sidways area from 8/18 to 9/2 shows that enough force of accumulation has been built up to advance the price about $40, so $260-$270 is the next stop medium term. At that point the market should show us at least one tall green bar on the daily chart on good volume (a sign of strength) to confirm that the rally has gained enough of a following to push above the $26x resistance area.

Unless of course, this is just an Ashley Madison pump.

i also think it won't rise further, for now. $250 looks like an easy target but i don't think we'll see the price go over that level.

Doesn't matter. Even if it drops it won't go deeper than 220 or so. We're seeing a bottom here. Everytime the price went under 200 it bounced back immediately. So if you're not trading but be in for the long haul there is no reason to worry now.

$260 is next stable point and it's on the way up  :D

Yeah, seen it way too many times lol. Goes down, then recovers 2 week periods or a bit more.

People jump ship then ended up going back in, cause it wouldnt fall any lower. The price wont go any lower, unless its a technical issue with bitcoin or something making people to drop the coin, and thats when I assume it`ll ever fall below.

I dont think the price necessarily will go up further than it has risen in the last few days ($240 range), but stability does seem to be forming at the $225-$250 range.  No bad news that I can see, adn you've got to think almost all "weak hands" are out by now.

The biggest truth around is that really nobody knows what a hell is going to happen! :) We are just all guessing and very often, Bitcoin just takes us for fools and does its own thing.

If your in btc for long time then you should have understood that few dollar variation in a day is common in btc trading ever day. Do not worry much about day trading. Invest for long term and have patience to get more profits. Some time these news will come out from day traders so that they can make a profit. But keep eye on your investments to avoid big losses.

most people here are very short term minded. if they see the price go down a few bucks they start to get worried. as long as you don't sell you won't lose anything.

and people like the starter try to take full advantage of this short mindedness of people by spreading fear and try to fill their buy orders at lower prices to gain a quick buck.

It's not but auction will. Nobody want to make same mistake as Tim Draper did. He bought more than 600$ now he's in big debt.
I expect at least 220-230$ again next few days.

The last auction for Silkroad coins will be until the end of 2015. If you don't think it won't affect Bitcoin price then you are so naive. Check out history and learn from mistakes. Don't repeat same mistakes again.

lol, as I wrote that post I was thinking "This is not really an average." I just roughly subtracted his prediction. However since none of us can know the future, accuracy is not a factor.

I agree, more panic selling to commence, even though I thought all the panic sellers were out already.  Seems almost like these events are being lined up to squeeze every last "weak hand" out before price really takes off.  Although, a real take off looks like it may be years out now, who wants to hold that long???

6 months out from the halving the price will start to steadily increase. We would have had MUCH bigger crashes if the bitfinex and xt fud happened a year ago. Point is, there are only so many weak hands left now. Most are gone. That's why it barely affected the price and the price rebounded right away.

I can only lead you to the fountain of knowledge of whale-ness. Whether you choose to drink of the golden elixir of knowledge and wealth is up to you. If you missed my near spot on call of the top it's not too late to dump. If you took my advice, congratulations on the couple grand you're about to slide into your pocket. The opportunity to buy back in lower approaches!

225 is the magic number that's the signal to get rich.

UPDATE: Bearish divergence widening. Looks like when the blood comes, it'll drop quick. Get that buying finger ready this weekend. I expect it to drop to 225 by late sunday/early monday. Next week should see us rebound to about where we are now.

The crystal ball still a little fuzzy for next week. I will update as the picture becomes clearer.

agreed, $225 would ensure you are gonna lose some.

the key in a situation like this though (when you know a sharp drop is coming), is be quick, dont expect prices like $180 to hang around that level.  I always seems to crash hard, and bounce back up, maybe not all the way back to $225, but at least back p over $200 within a day or 2

Is it really that hard to read, 2013 is a whole other story than 2015...
