So I didn't know where else to post this topic, mods if this isn't the right place to talk about this PM me and I'll gladly move the discussion from this section of the forum.

So when I was trying to get some sleep last night, a light bulb went off in my head about a possible new type of btc gambling game that a large majority of sports lovers would enjoy. I've already visited multiple btc gambling websites, and I have yet seen this type of game being promoted. Because of the fact I don't want anyone taking my idea, I won't go into much detail. Just know that I would need to run a provably fair scrypt, and I don't know the slightest thing about coding, so I'm out of luck there.

Question is this though, what can I do to either start my own website with other investors who would like to participate in this experiment? Or should I pitch this game to an already established btc gambling website and invest my btc in their website. It's really hard to ask the right questions, because I would have no idea where to begin on this new found project of mine.

people are pretty much always looking to invest btc, but they wont just hand it over, i would suggest that you hire a coder or programmer, there are a couple around here :)

So maybe move this thread to "services"? Or just create a new one offering to hire a programmer?  How much would a decent offer of BTC be, and do you by chance know of any specific programmers/coders by username I could look up?

as for investing i think either you have to come up with the money yourself (from your own pocket) or find someone who knows you to invest in your idea.

as for coding you can easily find people who are capable of coding and designing a website everywhere. do a google search or you can start a new topic in services section looking for hire.

p.s. this topic might belong in gambling section.

OP will need to cover him self.   I think your right on move maybe long term loans or services looking for someone to do this.   It is hard to get investors trust you with something like this.   Unless idea is just so massively new, but with gambling most are not that new.

Also you would have hot wallets on your site so you would be responsible for other's peoples coins.  That is a big deal, and possible huge risk.   Then mention you are kinda dogging laws to do a gambling site... it is going to be hard.

Interesting, well I'd love to know what your angle is but I can understand why you want to keep it quiet for now.

I think if your project is promising and it shows results, then you can automatically find investors.

I would invest in any project that I find out to have a good profit and make sure that it is not just a scam.

Problem is you cant really show it will for sure make a gambling site is profitable before it's built.  Could not have enough people who use it.   So many variables. 

Also being new I think will add to it being hard to find an investor.  I know he will not want' to but I think he would have to do a  loan, just not an investor item I dont' think.

the fact that your haven't seen your idea in any place might be because it is not profitable. and since you are not sharing any sort of detail about it, makes it impossible to give any opinion on the matter let alone attract any investors.


as i said nobody can give any opinion on our idea unless they know a little about it first.
but if you think it is worth the effort , and you predict profit, then you can hire some coders and designers to make your website and implement your idea.
as for start, you should have a starting investment on your own, then if the site gets players then you can invite investors and give them some share of the profit.

OP you can make a thread on Project Development (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0) section and explain more details about you project, don't make a project as experiment if you want to an investor to participate to your project. If you seeking for investor you need to make an investor believe you.

Hey, again... sorry I've been busy with school related stuff and of course football (live in the south, what do ya expect? lol) I'll be sure to take ikydesu's advice and start a thread in project development tomorrow when I wake up... I'll keep everyone in this thread notified what happens.  I'm just a little skeptical about sharing my ideas here, because I've never seen it in another gambling site before... I don't think it's a game that should have it's own website, but I would like for it to be part of a major gambling site that would potential give me dividends on the profits if I were to invest early on in its development.
