My account is almost 6 months old in this forum and still my rank status is newbee..can anyone please explain when will i become full member and how the activity thing increases? :/

Your rank is determined by the time you have been a forum member and also your activity during this time.

Your activity is measured over a two week (14 day) period and your rank is then adjusted according to your activity.

Your potential activity is probably 42. When you posted 42 messages in forum your activity will be 42 and your rank will be Jr. Member. You can't earn more than that because you missed other 2-week intervals.

max activity = 14 * number of two-week periods you posted in.
it's like you get MAX 1 activity per day. with some tweak

it doesn't matter when you registered. what matters is how many two-week periods you posted in.

you can become full member at November 24 provided that you posts in every two-week periods that will come. you need to have at least 120 posts to become a full member.

only old account is not enough to rank higher, as others explained you need to be active on forum and make posts during different activity periods, I have checked your potential activity and its 56 so if you make enough posts your activity will increase to 56 and your rank will changed to member, to rank up further be active and make posts on forum.

Hmm, are you sure about his potential activity and Member status?

First, isn't the Member rank given only to those with 60 or more posts? Then, I think dukeneptun got it right, and Ceizer54's maximum potential activity is 42, as he posted in no more than 3 different two week periods - he posted on the 31st of March, but did so after the start of a new period (which I assume starts sometime during the morning, or early afternoon by now).

Say if i reach 120+ posts till the end of this month then will i be ranked "Full member" in the end of the month itself or i have to wait till november?

you still have to wait till november 24 and make at least 1 post in every two week periods.

As --Encrypted-- explained, you'll have to wait until November, 24, before you can become a Full Member (and that, assuming you post at least once in every two week period, and make at least 120 posts in total). For reference, the next two week period starts this Tuesday, the 15th of September.

To clarify, and repeating what others already pointed out, your forum rank doesn't depend on how long ago you registered, or even on your post count alone; it depends on your activity, which normally increases at a maximum of 14 points every 2 weeks, as you make posts. In your case, as you have not posted enough to gain all the activity you're entitled to, you'll be able to get a bit more (up to 42 activity points this period).

Thanks For explaining..Earlier i thought i just have to wait 4+ months to be full member then when i login after 4 months i was still a newbee..Guess i wasted 4 months ..lol...now again i have to wait to be full member to join signature compaigns
