Title: OFFERING $ PAYPAL ---> BTC
Post by: knightkon on September 12, 2015, 02:38:33 AM
I would like some more BTC to play around with and I only have money in PAYPAL.  I will send first to trusted people.  Please post offers here.  I only have $150 or so, so I am not looking for large amounts, small amounts are fine.

I would be willing to work with another newbie, however I would want you to use escrow, fees to be split between both parties.  It protects both parties.  If you are interested in using escrow and doing this, please let me know, but I would not be willing to do the whole $150 with a newbie.  I will do $25.  let me know if interested.

So your ready to trade with newbie with reversible payment method? It is quite risky, if you want to sell those coins you can do 1:1 trade with any good reputed members in this forum.

Escrow is welcome , but its not protect btc seller. Any escrow service providers won't be able to escrow PayPal or Skrill or any other such things.

You sending as Gift/Family&Friends offers no protection against a later chargeback from you.

Thank you for this information, I though this was the best way to do it to protect a client.  What is the best way to do this with good protection?

AFAIK there is no way to be 100% sure, not even close. I don't think anyone would be willing to trade their btc for your paypal, when they can easily do so with a trusted member, try virwox.

Why can't you just cash the money out from PayPal to bank and buy BTC with cash. Seems to easy right?

Invalid argument. Maybe you should talk less and read more, because then you'd know that TC (currently) has a valid argument for that situation.
