You put a buy order or whatever you want to call at $150.. It got topped. He bid a larger amount.

That's not really how it works. If you have a buy it now, then it's considered sold once someone offers that amount. And it's preferable to let all bidding take place here on the thread itself, not PM's.

Just some advice from running and participating in auctions myself, feel free to take it or leave it.

So ... lets be totally transparent

I PM'd an offer based on the previous sales thread, it was my third PM'd offer, and to be blunt was an attempt to prevent the coin going to auction

The auction was posted at 9.17 AM forum time. I PM'd at 9.22 AM forum time. I had not seen the auction thread was live (as I have said I wanted to close before the auction was posted), I was not aware of starting bid price, or buy it now price. Had I seen the auction thread, I would have posted to it, and would have posted to the buy it now price, rather than just past it.

At the time I write now, is the time I have (just) seen the update to the auction thread, and is the only feedback I have had from Equinoxx (No PM response) wrt my above PM'd offer

My offer still stands. I will leave it to Equinoxx to proceed as he sees fit, and will be comfortable with whatever gets decided.

Looking at forum user 'local times' ... I would imagine .... given that minerjones appears to be stateside, and that I am UK that there would be a greater margin for you Equinoxx with the most local shipping. Looking at your local time, you appear also to be Europe ?

I want the coin, but I dont want any bad blood with it.

This has been a strange auction?

Id sell it to $150. Sucks but an honest mistake that doesn't lose much money...Still a 50% profit from initial sale.  :-\

If a bidding war gets going for these, I'd part with one for 1 BTC.  :P

Sounds like you're the highest bidder ;).

Wait,  what is going on? Before the buy it now offer came, monkeynuts (without seeing) put a bid of higher bid than the buy it now. SO technically ( I am the judge ), monkeynuts is currently the highest bidder. That is if OgNasty is bidding 1Btc XD.

Ognasty said he would sell one for 1BTC not buy. Honestly, you posted a BIN and now refuse to honor it?

Jesus. Someone made an offer BEFORE they saw the BIN. I only saw the offer AFTER I made the auction. It is all a big confusion.
Monkeynuts is still top bidder.

AUCTION CLOSES ON 18 SEPTEMBER

AUCTION CLOSES ON 18 SEPTEMBER

So ... The buy it now price was met by one bidder in the auction and was exceeded by a pm outside the auction. Yet the auction continues ....By not accepting minerjones bid you were effectively nullifying the auction, in order to accept my pm offer outside the auction. Surely you can't have it both ways

Outside of this auction I have been pm ing minerjones, trying to make this right for him with another bowl coin .... This was assuming (and its a natural assumption ) that this coin was already sold as part of a done deal outside of the auction

It's not getting any better here ....

Sell the coin to jones for $150 is my opinion, but he said he is no longer interested. Either sell the coin to Monkey or close this thread and start a fresh one with no BIN.
