Title: Seeking 100 BTC loan for online gift shop.
Post by: kingpin26 on October 12, 2012, 07:23:00 PM
Greetings!

I am new to the bitcoin community. I discovered them back in July and have been kind of obsessed ever since. I am a self employed web developer and have been racking my brain trying to find a niche or two to make my mark in the community. Out of many ideas, this is the first that I have decided to commit some serious time to.

I have this advertised on BTCjam as well. Here is the description from the listing I have placed there:
_______________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________
"I have begun work on a flower/gift delivery website that accepts bitcoins. I am expecting the site to be fully functional within the next 30 days.

What better way to justify your bitcoin investments to your significant other than a nice bouquet of roses or a customized stuffed animal. Gifts are delivered to the address of your choice with a customized notecard by local florists. Gifts can be sent completely anonymously for a small additional fee.

On launch day, we will be tied into several APIs which allow delivery within the continental united states. initially, we will accept bitcoins but we will also accept litecoins at some point in the near future. At launch, we will be limited to flowers, stuffed animals and chocolates but will be expanding into jewelry and possibly even an adult section for more outgoing couples.

Your investment will be converted into cash (USD) which will be banked for fast/immediate payment to our suppliers once orders are confirmed. The bitcoin payments received from our customers will be used to pay back this investment.

(We will not have any sort of wallet functionality on site. No coins will be stored on any wallets on any public servers.)

If we launch and not a single person places a single order, the investment capital will remain untouched and will be used to repay this loan. The interest will be paid out of pocket by myself, a small risk for a potentially successful venture.

I will post updates on my development progress in the comments."

I understand I am new to the community and there is a great deal of paranoia about scams. Rightfully so, there have been quite a few.

My privacy has always been something I value. I would like to protect my identity as much as I can but I am offering complete transparency to anyone who is willing to seriously commit. In private, for anyone who commits 20% or more I am willing to provide my full name, home address, resume, SSN and a list of all of my fears. If there's anything additional you require just ask. If you're willing to trust me with your investment I am willing to trust you with my information. If you're willing to invest 70% or more, I am willing to work out a partnership deal where you would receive a cut of profits overall. I will not be listing this on any of the bitcoin security exchanges or anything of that nature.

I am willing to answer limited general technical questions and general business questions publicly at this time. Details will be limited to the aforementioned group of serious investors until the website is closer to completion and the domain name has been decided on.

And yes.... I am expecting some serious trolls here so you're not surprising anyone.  ;D

I wanted to add....

If I do not receive this loan, the site will launch but with delayed processing as I manually convert funds until a decent fund is built from the profits.

Thanks for viewing.

That's probably the best way to go regardless.

I'd like to avoid this route if possible. While the site will be monitored, I would prefer to make it an automated process so I can focus on other projects.

Where do you usually beg for money?

Douche...

I'm going to handle this on my own.
I don't really need the loan I just wanted to try to involve myself in the community with an idea I am pretty excited about. I'll make a service announcement post when the site is functional.
