WE will see 10000, but once that happens most of the people posting here will have given up in desperation, either abandoning ship or trying to cut losses. They will not wait. The winners of this will be a very small minority. As always the cake is always spread among a few people. Naturally the ones holding a good amount of Bitcoin in 10 years will be a small group. This means the people holding now will spread their coins among other people and a few of the people that don't sell will become very rich. It's always like this with new tech.

How'd you go about earning your BTC? I mean I know of the typical ways of earning btc and all, but I mean, are you a programmer/graphic designer, sell a lot of your possessions, mine them from early on?  Just curious, because now and days it's pretty hard to earn that much any kind of way, especially with the mining costs of today.

I don't think it'll ever be an overnight thing. It's a tough sell. If it ever does reach adoption it'll be a slow and cumulative process over a period of years. There'll be plenty of killer apps but until more educate themselves or are educated they'll stay away.

Bitcoin will always evolve and grow with the passage of time.I don't see anything negative happening to Bitcoin.Bitcoin has reached so far and has watched many ups and downs already but these are part and necessary for healthy growth.Bitcoin will stay and becomes more valuable in coming years.

Recently, positive news is come to bitcoin, except about block size debate. Pro and con is don't make a community be a fragile.

That's a spirit, but I don't think this will be necessary. :) Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies are really an amusing technological advancement. I would even say the biggest advancement since the Internet.

Even if Bitcoin doesn't make it, decentralized blockchain technology is the future and will be used by masses. That being said, even if some other crypto replaces Bitcoin(which I highly doubt) we are still the early adopters, all of us, and we will have time to switch to this other crypto.

well  bitcoing has bringed blockhain that are atracting more and more companies as banks to make their own,we will see one day some google or apple blockhain and coin to pay their workers as their publishers... converting those at some place ,all legal .

I personally see Bitcoin as a hobby.

Sure, I'm bummed when I make a loss, but that's gambling anyway, isn't it?
I more than make up the loss with the people I've met and that's worth more than I've ever held in my wallet. :)

I wouldn't call it gambling really, unless you are making some seriously risky investments ;)

My view also we will very soon see the price of one bitcoin would be $10k. No matter what will be the bitcoin price. We will have higher difficulty with more miners.

You know for many people failure has no value. I differ from most people and learn from those failures. If Bitcoin is a failed experiment, most of us would walk away with a wealth of newly acquired knowledge on

things we would not have dealt with, if we did not get involved with Bitcoin. Some people might not have known anything about trading or gambling online or cryptography or how the finacial systems work.

Most people got the taste of freedom to access and control their own finances without the involvement of any government or 3rd party. The experience and the ride is sometimes more valueble than the finacial gain

or possbly a loss.  ;) 

it'll take years before it reaches 10,000. Lot of adoption is required before that can happen...I'm talking more ATM of bitcoin than fiat. right now we have more sellers and less buyers...table has to turn before price can go sky high

Same here but still hoping for the best for bitcoins. I'd probably not quit with it as long as I believe there is a great future for bitcoins. :)

Bitcoin has come a long way and the technology is here to stay. I too have learned a ton thanks to Bitcoin. Especially about money. I miss the days of wild volatility but I guess that it is better off without it.

i'm already happy if we see bitcoin being stable and staying stable at around $1000 at some point in the future. we are part of a great technology that can possibly change the financial world for the better.

me too. im hoping that i can see that $1000 price of bitcoin again. Hopefully it will be next year like what others predict that 2016 is the year for bitcoin.

If the return to $1000 is all you are looking for why are you bothering with bitcoin.

Well if bitcoin achieves again 1000dollars the buble will be made once again and several will left bitcoin,since they will be able to roi their investment,soo maybe not good as looks like.

Me too I've learned a lot from bitcoin if nothing else  :D Luckily I have earned enough and learned enough to stick around and I will be staying long into the future regardless of whether we moon or just chill around the area we have been this year. All is good when you are not focused on just the price.

Why most of the posts here sounds like bitcoin is dying and this is your final goodbye? While bitcoin price now it is not so impressive we have potential.
XT situation is hopefully over and people will start buying more in anticipation of the next halving. Bitcoin won't disappear.

Not saying that bitcoin will die or disappear but some old bagholders that entered at 1000 dollars will left as soon as bitcoin hits those value again.

Fear Of Missing Out hits sellers just as much as prospective buyers. If you're still here after 2-3 years then you've either written them off in your mind or are in it for the long haul. Much'll depend on the nature of that rise.

I do not think it will, though.

If fiat crashes within the near future, Bitcoin will also crash. Why? Because the power grids and Internet communications will crash at least in part right along with Bitcoin. At best we will have multitudes of forks from people using Bitcoin while being disconnected from other people using Bitcoin. But probably Bitcoin will be lost because of how impractical it is. People will be too busy trying to live to mess with something like Bitcoin any longer.

Well i do pick up something about the blockchain concept. Learning a few things and there about how things on centralization works and why complete control can be bad. Overall it was fun.

That is what I was thinking when I was reading all of the posts that were saying how they were holding bitcoins just for that $1000 rise; bitcoin is a currency. It's a way of life; sure, it may be a way of profit for some people, but the people who truly enjoy bitcoin are the people who are here just to use it. :)

Well is the same if you buy a company that before makes 300dollars daily and now after you assume is making you just 60 dollard daily,soo you will try to sell for the price you paid atleast..even knowing that something went wrong.

Im sure several people invested deeply into those value ,and regretting not had join or soon or later the climb and the huge dump,but i love bitcoin being worthing 1 dollar or 200 for me is enought and i can pay to get something soo im happy with the price,if up well next years my childs can benefict from it.

The main thing Bitcoin has going for it is trust. That's been built up over a period of years. It's had endless shite thrown at it, probably hundreds or thousands of the world's best hackers trying to break it, it's had a few technical wobbles, but it's still here and growing.

You can replicate it a trillion times over technically. You can't transfer that trust across to anywhere else and without that it's nothing. Many alts promise wonderful things. They may very quickly turn to dust if they come under a fraction of the pressure that Bitcoin experiences every minute of every day.

I'm leaning the other way... this instant growth is more likely to come from a countries adoption vs a killer app... although the two could be in conjunction... example: Brazil goes all in on BTC after a seamless conversion from a "Bitcoin Bank"... with the ability to spend their coins in fiat CC or BTC.

.... the price is not likely to fall. if it fall there is the price still likely to rise again  :P

The price depends on the usefulness of bitcoin. If bitcoin has no use, its price is 0. At present, there is some usage of bitcoin. You can buy things over the internet, you can send money with it. So the price is several hundred dollars. In the future, when there are more usage, the price will be several thousand dollars.

Whatever happen to bitcoin price i will always use it till the end. I hope bitcoin will live more than me.  :)

I have always been a little obsessed by the mining field. <Gold / Silver / coal> and when I started out with Bitcoin, I got a opportunity to mine from my house. This experience was absolutely worth it and if Bitcoin failed, I would always think back to those days.

It is a joy to be part of this community.  8)

Mining is fun. I used to mining bitcoin. But not any more, the machines are too power consuming and noisy. I mine altcoins and sell the coins for bitcoin. I learned a lot of computing and GPU mining processes. It is a lot of fun. However, home mining is get less and less now due to the high electricity cost and noise.

I'm pretty sure everyone has. Bitcoin will go on for quite a long time and it will continue to evolve and get better. You won't be seeing the end of Bitcoin in the near future; it is just beginning.

Yeah. That's the same with me. I am still tying to earn Bitcoin and I think that in a couple of years the price will go up to $1000+.

the real dream, is hoping for the departure of fiat, but even if it not happen i would be satisfied with a big adoption of bitcoin as a secondary big means of payment

Honestly I think BTC will increase to 500 dollar plus in the future but for now is the currency is just a rollercoaster.

If we could buy a small country and only in that country is BTC payments like euro or dollar that will be awesome. Or a small island with 250 people min.

Better tell what you have learned than make posts like this which have no meaning. Put some words and signs and create a main post without meaning. Telling "no matter what will happen with bitcoin I've learned ALOt" might sound like you don't care a shit about bitcoin but only for that you have learned. If you don't care about what can happen with bitcoin why needed the learning of things related to him? I can't find the meaning of this. Maybe you can do another post to explain better your proverb. And maybe to correct me.

There are big chances Bitcoin will succeed, but we need to be aware that this will take a long time! When I say long, I mean long. Nothing before 2020 and even this is very optimistic.

It just takes time for people to change their habits, especially about money. It will also take time that we develop this thing as it should be developed!

We will reach it don't worry.Maybe in a few months, during or some time after halving we will be there.
I just can hope you don't have the plan to dump your stash if we are there. Price might continuing to rise and will not drop that much.

i agree with you bro..i dont fu*king care what happen to bitcoin next hour,next day,next week or next mounth..i just care about how can i get so many bitcoin ;D no matter the price,i think if a have many bitcoin,i dont have to worry about what happen next time. but if had a lot of money,i think investement will a good choice..

I doubt you will be saying this if we were on the brink of crisis here, but instead future looks quite promising with recent news about consensus.
I remember posts from January of 2015 where people were crying and cursing how they were led to destruction by bitcoin, just because price was really bad back then...

But you have one thing right. We all learned a lot: something about economy, currencies, world, politics. So I guess bitcoin train is a good ride.

OK great you learned a lot but bitcoin is not just about money, it's much more.
Bitcoin is vision, idea how to change the world, how to help average people to get rid from banks and other financial regulations and achieve financial freedom...
It's way of life also, tool for people to separate from strict and stupid governments regulations and become free...

So true, I have learned and had my mind opened.  Most important is what you mention, how Bitcoin can bank the unbanked and achieve financial freedom all over the world.  We could all be on a level playing field.

Because the future of bitcoin is the future earning of our life and easy idea to get earning in bitcoin making bitcoin much famous and much attractive toward newbie .
