EXCLUSIVE: President of main Russian bank admitted he owns bitcoins
German Gref, former Russian Minister of Economy and Trade and currently President of Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia and Eastern Europe, told bitcoins should not be banned.

That's as about as bullish as it gets. Especially considering how resistant Russia has previously been toward BTC. It is connected, powerful finance guys like this that need to be the voice for BTC. Actors and sports personalities aren't the sort of people I want financial cues from.

I'm still waiting to see how BRICS pans out and how btc will figure in it all.
