Programmer kid trying to pay people for doing his homework...? Answers can be found on the internet, why ask them on the internet and expect people not to be able to know/find them?

lol that would be pretty funny if that were true.
Maybe its some kind of CAPCHA? to prevent bots?

Why not reduce the pay out limit to something you can afford? 0.001?
Trying to make money from adverts and not pay anything out?

Why's anyone play a game for 0.01 BTC? I'd fart for that, but you couldn't bottle the methane  :P

Played the game, won, answered the questions and the site told me to provide the correct answers. Tell me which of these is wrong and why:

1. What is 878*699? (I answered 613722)
2. Eighth planet in our solar system? (I answered Neptune)

Both answers are correct, why did the site not credit me?

Sometimes it pays to skim over the thread before posting - even or especially if it was only a page long till then...

Actually, I DID skim and that's the problem. All I saw was "Great site", "Keep up the great work" and similar comments when I "skimmed".

Now that I have gone back and read in detail I have found the post you are referring to. Thanks for the "help" and your smart-ass attitude.

Funnily, it was the post right after the "keep up the good work" that had your question.

You're welcome, and I do indeed apologise for the too "smart-ass"-ish tone.

@Ori: Is that a bug or a feature that the captcha itself is stuck at the same questions (878*699 and 8th planet) for everyone?
I think first time I saw it, there were two different questions.  Is it perhaps only changed when new funds arrive?

Hey, it's not fair!  I've just won but there isn't enough BTC in your wallet to pay my reward. :)
How horribly unfair!  I haven't ever won anything before this, and when I win I am still a looser.

How horribly unfair!!  :)

"horribly" is just such an understatement!
I'd be a satoshi-multimillionaire by now if it wasn't for the insufficient funds! ;-)

In free faucet sites, its one of the most generous (you have chance to get 0.01). Better yet, it does not cost you much time because you have only 3 attemts daily so because it is mostly empty you can check once a day only, or wait when Ori annouces he added some coins to the faucet.

I got once 0.01 two weeks ago, and had one shot at another when Ori annouced he added coins and in faucet was more than 0.01 but not lucky dices this time.

So I dont understand your frustations, would you preffer to get daily 0.00003 as you get on some free faucet sites...

The frustration for me is that the faucet is too generous! Unsustainable really.

Added some mini BTC , should show up in 15 mins

good luck
Nice site, but it's so annoying the fact the when you visit the website, you are automatically put in the game and it registers a 'play'. So, like I just did, if you just want to visit the site to see if there are any funds and is worth playing, then you can't because you're blocked from the whole site for 24 hours.

Would be nice if you had a "Play now" button, or a separate page showing the balance.

Yes I understand , I am developing this slowly , will fix many things in the future , including Play button
Nice one. If you need any assistance, let me know. :)

Simply, you could just move the current index.php to play.php, and then link to that from the new home page.

Edit: Also, you captchas don't recognise correct input.I googled the math equation, and entered the correct 2nd planet (venus), even tried upper and lowercase V, yet still told I'm wrong.

Is there any way to donate funds to this faucet? I can't find a donation address.

It looks like a great starting fund for newbies who need 0.01 BTC to play with!

Recently I came to the site, it showed a balance above 0.01, and it showed me two
equal dice, but only after entering address and answers it told me about last visit
within 72 hours...

If you change the frequency limit, thats ok, but showing me the dice and
only then complaining about it, didn't seem "fair" to me.  :-(

I've removed it from the "regular visits"-bookmark folder, now.

0.0200024 btc deposited , good luck.

When I went there I won and answered the questions correctly, but was told I answered incorrectly and wasn't paid.   :(

The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana, not astana.    ;)

You made this same mistake when the questions were about the planets and you expected answers like jupiter and saturn etc.
when the correct responses would be really Jupiter and Saturn. ( proper nouns, like the names of cities, people, and planets, need to be capitalized )

You can avoid situations like this by converting the submitted response to all lowercase ( strtolower ) before doing the comparison to see if it is a correct response.

Title: Re: Another Free BTC site
Post by: Portnoy on December 01, 2012, 06:25:29 PM
Oh unlucky :(

its not a mistake , its deliberate , more chances for others to win , so you are lucky if you entered lowercase

First off I am not trying to get you to pay me for a win... if you offered I would've given you an address from the newbie lotto database...
I am just offering some feedback to help you provide a better experience to the newbies you are hoping to help out.  I feel it is admirable
that you want to do this and it is good to see the amount you have already given out, but I have to say, it would've been understandable
if you just didn't understand the English language well enough, but to deliberately put in a wrong answer as the correct choice in your game
is not nice. Do you think you are being tricky to make the game more challenging?  Well it is a dishonest trick...  You are probably pissing off
more people who thought they won than making people happy who "got lucky" enough to put in the wrong answer without the proper
capitalization.

Even though I won 0.1 and answered the very bizzare questions correctly (I googled them) it said they were wrong and now I can't use the site.
That's pretty lame.

I won the .01 BTC on my first try and from the looks of it it says that it is out of bitcoins to give at the moment. Does this mean I will never get them or I will get them once you get some more bitcoins to pay people?

this site is different to others , you can read what it says in the wallet balance

Its first come first served basis

Oh I'm sorry I thought it said that's how much it needed to pay, not how much it had. Thanks for the site! I got my .01 coins!
