Why are your prices drastically cheaper than retail?  Usually that means fakes/ripoffs/illegitimate goods.  How are you making money with products priced so low compared to retail?

Very good question. I assure you nothing is fake, all our items are exactly as described. All items are legit, we are a registered business that pays taxes and has legitimate wholesalers in the U.S, Canada and internationally.

We are a pure online business. Therefore our overhead is DRASTICALLY lower than a brick and mortar store. Believe me, these items are legit, these prices are legit. That is why we have been successfully growing month over month since we opened in early 2010. If you look around you will see that we get nothing but stellar reviews. Our Credit Card provider is the largest and most respected one in Canada, the application process to be accepted by them is over a month long. We would of been shut down long ago if ANYONE had any concerns about our products.

Also most people don't realize the insane mark ups that brick and mortar jewelry stores add to their prices. We are simply trying to offer goods products, at good prices, with a good service. We have done very well because not being greedy since we first opened. Our return customer base grows daily.

Does simulated diamond mean fake diamond?

Yes. Likely cubic zirconia. Drastically cheaper than actual diamond.

Correct it means man made diamonds. They are lab created. They are only softer than diamonds in hardness. Basically a good simulated diamond, such as the ones we use in our products look like a flawless diamond to the untrained eye. Under a jeweler's lens a trained professional can easily tell the difference.

Regardless the price difference is drastically cheaper. Making them a very affordable option, especially since the quality is exceptional.

Simulated diamonds, such as Cubic Zirconias are appearing more and more in jewelry, even engagement rings as diamonds and gold become increasingly more expensive. They offer quality at an insanely good price. Keep the good questions coming, I am happy to help!

By "only softer than diamond in hardness", does that mean nothing can scratch them except diamonds?

Are these the same as "synthetic diamonds", as used in special cutting blades?

CZ's are 8.5 on the Mohs scale. 10 being diamonds the hardest. CZ's are slightly harder than most gemstones an exception is rubies. So unless you are going around rubbing these stones up against diamonds or rubies or putting them against a grinder you won't scratch them in everyday use. That is a lovely aspect of them. Especially since the price is so affordable.

This is one of the main reasons why they are growing vastly in popularity in their use.

Why do you only ship to so few countries?

This is due to a high rate of fraud from a lot of countries when users pay with visa and paypal. As a lot of companies do online, we limit this to safe countries (also these countries are about 95% of our business anyway).

We currently ship to 12 countries when paying with visa and paypal (Most online businesses only ship to the U.S and Canada) which are:

Canada, United States, United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany.

Fortunately with bitcoin we will accept payment and ship to just about any country besides the extreme places of fraud (Example Nigera, Congo, etc). Thats one of the reasons why we love bitcoin so much, is because we don't have to have this fear.

Just out of curiosity what fraud are you worried about if you ship after you get the bitcoins (even from a Nigerian)? Stolen packages I guess?

Yes just stolen packages, you nailed it. We have found through experience that shipping to a country such as you stated results in almost a 100% theft rate by customs and the postal system. Russia is another example that we have found the customs to be horribly corrupt. They actually acknowledge this and made a post on their own customs website saying it was a problem. This was some time ago although.

We don't like to see our customers disappointed and unfortunately once shipped we can't control the item anymore. Therefore we prefer to ship to locations in which we know will not result in future problems.
