Introduction to the Earth Dollar

The Earth Dollar Changes Everything!

System Change, not Climate Change” has been a rallying cry catalyzing all types of social movements around the world. Climate Change is just one of the symptoms of the cancer that is destroying our planet; nothing will ever change until that cancer is eradicated.

The root of the cancer for climate change is also the primary cause of poverty, pollution, war, the extinction of species, scarcity, and hyper-competition. The cancer that we are talking about is “Our Current Economic System”, which is based on the unlimited growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the accounting system that is supporting this madness called General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The more our economy grows, the more the environment becomes degraded. This system now only benefits 1% of the population, leaving 99% of the people in the dust.

We will need 2 Earths by the year 2030. “Humanity Has Overshot The Earth’s Biocapacity. Humans are ‘using one and a half planets’ worth of resources and will need two Earths by 2030. The world’s people are now living lifestyles which would require one and a half planets to sustain, though there are significant differences between rich and poor nations.

In 2008, the Earth’s total biocapacity was 12.0 billion gha, or 1.8 gha per person, while humanity’s Ecological Footprint was 18.2 billion gha, or 2.7 gha per person. This discrepancy means it would take 1.5 years for the Earth to fully regenerate the renewable resources that people used in one year, or in other words, we used the equivalent of 1.5 Earths to support our consumption.

Just as it is possible to withdraw money from a bank account more quickly than the interest that accrues, biocapacity can be reused more quickly than it regenerates. Eventually the resources – our natural capital, will be depleted just like running down reserves in a bank account. At present, people are often able to shift their sourcing when faced with local resource limitations. However, if consumption continues to increase as it has in the past decades, the planet as a whole will eventually run out of resources. GDP is based on false assumption of unlimited economic growth, but this is theoretically impossible on a finite planet.

With the introduction of the Earth Dollar, we will run a parallel decentralized “Living Economic System” based on the preservation of life of our planet. Our H.O.M.E. (Heal Our Mother Earth) will become the new economy that we envision. In the Living Economic System, wealth is generated by taking care of Mother Earth.


THE EARTH DOLLAR

The Earth Dollar is made up of 3 major components: (a) Fuel: The “Earth Dollar” as the fuel for social change; (b) Economic Engine: The “Living Economic System” is the economic engine for massive social change, which revitalizing Mother Earth and Global Economies; it is also connected to the World Heritage Sanctuaries, and c) Synergy Platform: “Synergy” is a decentralized blockchain technology that can provide the following services: payment processing, paying rewards, running Smart Contracts, running Computer Applications, calculating Ecological Footprint, monetizing Assets, and Medical Research.

(a) Fuel: The Earth Dollar is an asset backed complementary currency, that is decentralized, non-inflationary, and uses blockchain technology. While the Earth Dollar is independent of any political affiliations, borders or nation-states, the Earth Dollar is also the national currency of some indigenous nations, and the legal complementary currency of some local governments.

The publicized $4 trillion in estimated assets have been pledged on the blockchain to back the Earth Dollar; these assessments will be autonomously verified and is expected to be completed by the Fall of 2016, by applying the Natural Capital Accounting System (NCA).

(b) Economic Engine: The Earth Dollar is designed to Heal Our Mother Earth (H.O.M.E.), by running a parallel economic system based on the wellness of Mother Earth. The Earth Dollar also mitigate the effects of climate change, helps to further the goal of ending global poverty, can revitalize our global economies and able to resolve some of the world’s biggest problems. The Earth Dollar works in alongside national currencies, and complementary currencies.

The world is getting more interconnected, and global problems such as climate change, pollution, collapsing economies, poverty, and war require global collaborative solutions. The world already has many solutions, but “there isn’t enough money” to implement them. While the world spends about over $1.7 trillion annually on war, it “does not have” $30 billion per year to feed the millions of people dying from hunger every year. We could convert all our homes to solar power, but “it is too expensive”. There is “not enough funding” to reverse climate change… “not enough money” to provide clean water to all the world’s population… The scarcity of money is a man-made problem and the Earth Dollar can provide a way to funnel the power of money into the solutions.

(c) Synergy Platform: The “Synergy” Platform is a decentralized blockchain consensus technology that is cloned from an upgraded and modified version of Ethereum, which runs the “Living Economic System”. Synergy will provide the following services: payment processing, paying rewards, running Smart Contracts, running Computer Applications, calculating Ecological Footprint, monetizing Assets, and Medical Research. The Synergy Platform is being developed into a decentralized super computer.

Yes the Earth Dollar has not been launched. Yes we are planning to launch the Earth Dollar as soon as preparations are finished.

A press conference is being prepared to explain about how the assets and the Earth Dollar work. A whole coin each have a unique serial number for the attached natural capital asset sponsorship certificate. The certificate indicates the intrinsic value of the assets attached.

We are testing the color coin protocol to create a special edition of GREEN EARTH DOLLAR TOKENS, which will be tradeable for Green Earth Dollars. The Green Earth Dollars in addition to regular assets attached, we will be attaching a full Carbon Credit to each Earth Dollar. The value of the coin is derived from the following factors:

- assets with intrinsic value backing the Earth Dollar

- the number of users (so far there is a potential 6.5 million people in the legislated territories) that are obligated by law to accept the Earth Dollar as a currency for payment of products and services. There are penalties for non-compliance

- ease of use: the Earth Dollar will be linked to debit and credit cards allowing people to use the Earth Dollar in all places that accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, and Mobile Devices

- there will be a maximim number of coins based on the asset value; each Earth Dollar will be backed by $10 USD is assets with intrinstic value

- the Earth Dollar is designed to be relatively inflation resistant because the Earth Dollar has an automatic Reserve System of Assets that will further back up the Earth Dollar over time; theorectically the ED will appreciate over time, since the asset value backing each Earth Dollar increases over time

- the Earth Dollar uses the following proofs: POS, POW and a new proof call Proof-of-Sustainability

Reply to the above quote: `The Earth Dollar has signed agreements with indigenous nations to make it their national currency within in their jurisdiction and also the same thing with local governments in Ghana. Indigenous nations are autonomous and semi-autonomous, so they can write their own laws to support the Earth Dollar. Also, local governments can also pass laws, so that is what has been done. It's just a way to reach more people to use the Earth Dollar.

No it's a scam. They don't have billions of dollars pledged in capital assets.
