Title: Looking for a .9btc loan. Have collateral.
Post by: Gringo90 on September 23, 2015, 08:47:41 PM
Looking for a short term .9btc loan. Repayment would be within 4-6 weeks max. I do have a NIB iPhone 4s and/or 1st gen iPad 32gig w/cellular data plan. I'd be willing to do my 2008 Chrysler 300 limited with 87k miles on it if I HAVE too use as collateral if needed.(it's my baby) I'm serious about this loan an repayment in 4 weeks or less with small interest rate if possible. PM or post if willing an what you'd need.      Edit:Looking for a loan from someone that's very reputable an upstanding on these forums.  Maximum time of loan should be 6 weeks. But estimate payback date in 2 1/2-3. I'm offering up collateral worth much more than a flimsy 220$ or so. So Im not looking for super super high rates since it's also not some small micro loan.  ESCROW ONLY

.9 is a very small amount for a car, don't you think? sure there's nothing wrong with it, but I think you'll get better luck (and better deal) if you go to your bank.

I'm just offering that as collateral to show the sieriousness I have towards repayment an not being a scammer. I can provide Driverse license/bank statement pic with date if needed as well. Whichever works best for whoever would pickup my loan. I also realize I have barely any posts as I mostly just lurk around so I'm sure some people may think something of that. But I'm willing to give my info to a respected member of this board as well as my personal number incase there may be any questions.

That collateral is excessive and hard to manage for an escrow. Where's the car located? (judging by your name you live in close to South America)

If you are willing to offer up your car title as collateral you need to be super skeptical about who loans you the money. A lot of people on here are willing to trade .9 BTC and their trust for a car, make sure you only accept a loan from someone trustworthy.

I get that. That's why I also just put up a NIB iPhone 4s for ATT and a iPad w,cell data 32gig as well. An that's why I put in my original post I want someone highly respected on these forums. I understand not having a lot of posts may look a certain way when asking for a loan. I also can provide bank statement, govt ID and my phone #.   Car and me are located in Orlando FL.

With the collateral you are offering, you may get far more than 0.9 btc in real world from mortgage. May I know, why do you need 0.9 BTC ?

Need it towards a startup project for payment. I'm quite serious about paying back in a short time frame hence I'm offer if that amount. But whoever is willing, will also need to be a hero member or so with great feedback an well trusted on the boards my car is worth 11-13k. iPhone/iPad is worth 300$ (I'm guessing. Maybe +$100). I'd feel more comfortable doing that. But whatever is needed.

Yeah, this was my first concern as well. Trust doesn't mean much on this forum anyways. Escrow is recommended.

I would strongly recommend against using the car for the 0.9BTC loan. You're literally using a 11-13k collateral for a ~$200 loan. Just use the devices and ship them to an escrow when you get a loaner.

look for a local loaning site instead, it'll be much easier for you to find anyone interested in receiving these physical items if they are just a couple blocks away.

Would be surprising, but what if the loan was required to be Bitcoin?
OP mentioned he needed it for a startup project.

If that was the case then it shouldn't be hard for him to exchange it to bitcoins; that's why we have the Currency Exchange section.

We're adding an unnecessary step. Anyways, @OP you should be fine with IPhone and IPad as collateral, no need to go overboard with the Chrysler 300.

A pawn shop would give you that loan easy if you're using your car as collateral.

yes quite difficult for those who are not located in areas of borrowers

There is probably no one here who will take delivery of that escrow.
