Title: Which PSU is best ?? Post by: Indianacoin on September 24, 2015, 04:06:41 PM I have bought 2 Antminer S3+ and I'm confused with which PSU should I buy ? Its power consumption is 340 Watt at the wall and its power supply is 12V DC. So is there any good quality as well as cheaper quality PSUs having 2 separate PCI-e cables?

Please suggest me the best one :) Because I want to run 2 Antminer S3+ If your going to do it I'm a fan of the RM series have had great luck with RM-1000's. But i would suggest looking at server PSU's. A lot of the PSU market has moved to server psu's. In most cases you can get more for your dollar with them, and depending on which one they normally are pretty good on efficiency. Title: Re: Which PSU is best ?? The 2880W server PSU's in my sig are very easy to set up, can power 8x antminer S3's and are very efficient, however they require 200+V AC input. I wholeheartedly recommend server PSU's in whichever size/configuration you choose, you will pay less, and get a more durable product. I have had ATX PSU's from most brands fail for some reason or another.

Post by: BLOCK_C on September 24, 2015, 09:13:47 PM I would recommend against the consumer grade Corsaire style power supplies, just buy an HP / Dell power supply that's been rewired with PCI-E connectors.
