They were never worth what Bitmain charged for them to begin with but for some inexplicable reason people continue to buy from them (and others) with no hope of ever making a profit. Such is the way of the BTC :( well, bitcoin went the enthusiast route as far as home mining is concerned. I am aiming at breakeven and enjoying the ride. It is very difficult to make money while making business out of mining. You need to have access to super low electricity cost (from zero to maybe 4-5c/kwh), which I don't. Colder climate helps a lot. There is no point for me to mine with many machines, but I would like to have the most recent or the best one. That would be my goal in the next few years but unless your a farmer or a miner for a living there isn't much work out there. I dream of it often moving and living off wind and solar out there, the land is beautiful and warm. Good to see some Washingtonians out there! Good Luck on your sale.
