I am sorry for stopping here to ask a question because I am confused, what is the usefulness of this short email address or what are the benefits and why do I need it.

Its just for nerds as a gimick, i personally think its neat :P

but buyers should be aware that a forwarder has access to mail contents. thats a show-stopper for me.

Where is the mail server, which hosting for this domains? what is guarantee that you not turn off your mail server for 1.fo or w.fo domains? after 6 months or year..

Super coolness. Short = golden is a general human trait. I'd rather be convoluted and save some cash myself.

Yeah they're cool and all but I wouldn't really trust them. I think I would prefer slightly longer ones too. Most people wont believe you if you gave them one of these addresses as your contact info  ;D.

Most of the websites when they require you to put your email address have the same validator to check if the email is valid or not.

And i just tested your emails and seems that these "validator" consider these emails as invalid, can we add prefix to this email like gmail?

do these kind of email really do exist.....i want to verify these emails that they are working....send me a mail at mpoke03@gmail.com....so that i can verify that it is working...

I already had such an email for private use as a gag  and it worked but sold this domain then for some higher $$$ amount to a client from China. Here is an independent source showing this domains do work:
