Title: [GLBSE] An appeal - .csv download
Post by: jbreher on October 18, 2012, 04:13:23 AM
To the operators of GLBSE (I guess that's just Nefario at this point) -

I would like to request that as soon as you get the opportunity, you re-enable the feature of logging in and downloading a .csv of our individual trade histories.

I have not seen this appeal in any of the million and thirty-seven other GLBSE threads.

That is all.

+1, or please just email these out at account closing. I would very much like to have this record

Thirded. I actually didn't have any BTC or assets in GLBSE when it went down, and this is all I want out of it.

definitely need the csv. Otherwise, some people will never know how much they have in there.

I'd be fine with this approach as well. Although 'closing' seems to have an unknowable definition at this moment. Perhaps at the point all externally-initiated transactions ceased?

Even better: Allow us to download a copy of the CSV file which is cryptographically signed by GLBSE. So we can prove to the issuers that the file is genuine.

Better yet, allow us to download crypographically signed statements for each individual stock/bond we own so we can prove to the issuers the file is genuine without needing all the other issuers to know how much of other stocks we own.

I posted a small migration "plan" draft here:

Personal cvs is a must so you can make sure that transfer was OK.

Nefario will hold the information hostage for as long as possible. Its a control issue.

He seemed to make most of his decisions with his emotions and not what is right for his company or customers.
