T-Mobile (http://www.coindesk.com/t-mobile-poland-trials-bitcoin-top-ups-for-mobile-customers/) in Poland seems to accept Bitcoin too. And there are many services allowing to recharge your phone with Bitcoin, but that probably doesn't fit what you're looking for.

I have never heard about a mobile operator that accepts bitcoin
But if you are looking for charging your credits with bitcoin , you can do this through some websites like bitrefill

there won't be many such operators out there that accept bitcoins... though there are sites like Bitpay... don't personally think that mobile operators would be accepting bitcoins anytime soon as the values goes up and down all the time... the cost would have to be readjusted all the time according to cost conversions...

1. www.piiko.com
2. www.bitrefill.com
3. www.mobileshop.ph

This is a neat idea, being able to order a sim card shipped to buyer and pay with bitcoin. This could take care of the phone verifications sometimes when you register for accounts.

Yes, T-mobile Poland. And not just that, but they were giving a 20% off if you were paying with bitcoins. At least that's what I last heard off. I don't know have they changed this offer since, but that was one hell of an offer.

A quick search revealed this little gem for people in Africa --> https://bitx.co/blog/buy-airtime-with-your-bitcoin/ It seems as though a Bitcoin exchange partnered with a mobile

phone operator company to buy airtime for mobile phones. The OP did not say where he lived, so I posted it for the sake of everyone living in the African regions.

I am glad to see some positive innovation coming from that part of the world.  ;D

There is no in the area that I stay. I think we might need to wait for another 5-10 years before this happens, but I am quite confident this will happen.

yes I have seen these sites by google them. Some sites support Indian operators for top up. That's the good news. Actually I was planning to start a mobile top up site for indian mobile operators. That would be more attractive more bitcoin users, as well as it may start attracting many people towards bitcoin.

Yes, that is correct. T-Mobile Poland is one of the few Mobile operators directly accepting bitcoin.
I researched that and they even offer +20% bonus for each bitcoin payment. That is great promotion of bitcoin payments!

In my country no one speak about bitcoin. It was spoken only one or two time in the news of one private television and that's all. No chance to be accepted by some business. Any kind of business. Phone operator included. Even some of those are world providers like Vodafone or TM of Deutsche Telekom.

to my knowledge, until now there is no state that the operator is using bitcoin, but if there is, he'll probably be the first country and the country will be written in the history of bitcoin

perhaps it will never be made
would be very inconvenient if the operator using bitcoin as a means of payment, bitcoin can only be used as digital money, so it may be very inconvenient if you have to use bitcoin as a mobile phone operator

Well, mobile phone operators can accept bitcoin if they want to because bitcoin also holds value too. It's just that we're too attached with fiat and that most people prefer to use fiat in their transactions that's why we can't part with it. If only people would realize there is a better alternative than that traditional money, we could somehow escape the slavery imposed by the banks and governments by not using their own printed money.

Well to my knowledge there are no networks that do accept BTC, however this may be a good business idea in the future  8). The only drawback is the fact that transactions are anonymous in nature so a way to keep track of customers is a unique payment address for each customer, another problem is that payments are done monthly via direct debit from the customer's bank account so maybe a wallet specific to the carrier could be made as a solution?

I think it would be interesting to see 'top up' style with bitcoin. That's an application that could probably fit in quite easily with existing infrastructure.
