Sorry, but I don't understand. Can you post pics of the coin outside the plastic (?) and on like plain white paper? Why is it on like tinfoil?

Thanks!

I bought some from amazon as a trial but I think you can similar cheaper with shipping from china, these aren't on ebay the original have a chip design on the back of them which wont allow you to print off a private key and seal it with a tamper proof seal. These have been grinded down with a dremel and repainted on the back, it comes with the seal so all you need is a printed private key and your set.

It was my thought on getting some cheap full metal nice design physical wallets out there, the next cheapest is around 20$ to get a coin with the spot for QR code, tamper evident seal and coin capsule.

This is the exact coin : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J2B0KEO?keywords=physical%20bitcoin&qid=1443659628&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

The back wouldn't allow for a good seal so that is why I modified them.

They are on eBay, multiple people are selling them for $1.50 + postage (do a search for "Casascius" and you'll find them). It looks terrible now you've sanded one side, can you show us the holograms you are offering with them and do they cover the whole back surface? They could still be worth what you're charging because holograms can be expensive.

Custom holograms are expensive, but the standard "Authentic" or "Genuine" holograms are inexpensive. If I had to guess, the latter is probably the hologram being used.

It is, but it I went through 3 different types, the first Authentic style holograms didn't stick well and same with the second. The third I got are great, honeycomb style and adhere amazingly.

I have taken a photo with the seal on the back but I am going to try a different method tonight on a different coin and see how it looks, the new one should look a lot cleaner on the back and hopefully increase interest.

Why not just make your own coin?

Well that would have a large up front cost and I am afraid it would be another 20$ physical coin, I was thinking about this if I was able to sell these enough I could possibly do it and keep it low but I would need the seed money for at least 100$ coins, so it depends and it might be something I will do in the future.

"Low cost" or "Affordable" coins is a fundamental misunderstanding of the physical bitcoin market. Besides, doesn't the "Walmart of physical cryptos" already exist? I'll send a "$20 physical coin (https://ravenbit.com/product/node-brass/)" to the first person to name the current physical crypto Walmart & the first coin maker (to my knowledge) to tout "low cost" and "affordable" coins (hint: now defunct).

Denarium is defunct? or would it be casascius I know they had aluminum ones for physical coins for a bit.

lol - was it that easy? Not thinking of casascius though - more obscure.

2 separate coin makers. 1 is active and 1 is defunct

That backside is really really off putting. The coin itselfs looks like it cloned one of mjbmonetarymetals' physical bitcoins (original (https://i.imgur.com/GbOn4Ad.jpg?1)).

No, the active is denarium. Nobody has guessed the defunct coin maker I'm thinking of. PM me your guesses, so I can stop hijacking kingcolex's thread.
