Hello again mindtrip, still have those S3's i see... Do you still have no plan to make a trip to Canada? :P
And the C1's would probably not have been too bad but i'm not too big on messing with water cooling.

Why are you not into water cooling? they actually make a great space heater it keeps my garage warm in the winter and with very very low noise

and they are very reliable never had any problems with them

Because there are more points of failures with water cooling and i already have fairly noisy miners, so having a quieter one would not really help with the noise. The trick atm is just using the winter cold air to keep the miner cold and drop the fan speed very low.

At least that was the plan, with Elnino its frickin hot outside and we're in December.

Anyhow since then i got bunch tons of mostly small miners and i capped out my grid, there is no more points in buying sidegrades anymore. I'd like to find myself some cheap warehouse or insulated office i could get industrial access to electricity but that does not seem all that easy(or cheap) to find.

I hear you its december and the temps are more like fall I only just recently got to shut the AC off in my farm because the days were just to warm. And my lease is up on my farm end of January so the hunt is on for a new spot to call home for a while with cheap electric finding that in the north east is hard. I am seriously considering buying a 5th wheels style motor home and building it into a movable mining operation I can just trailer to a location with my truck and just jack it into power. makes moving it around a lot easier. I was looking into the shipping container route and modifying it but having to hire someone every time to move it makes me think twice. My C1's were off most of the summer but I use them in my house to supplement in rooms that are not so warm so for that they are nice but I have a nunch of S7's in my farm those tubo jets can be heard from far away  ;D

PMed for a C1 if it's everything i take one let me know i'll get the btc to you to day once i know the full cost and what comes with the C1 .

I did send you a response but to clarify for everyone the C1's Are the full kit including the pump, radiator, and tubing I have had a few people ask the same questions. I am not including a power supply but I have an EVGA 1000 Watt Gold Power Supply running it now I would be willing to sell for an additional fee to anyone in need

I won't need a PSU, i have to many now, then i know what to with and won't sell them because as sure as i do ,I'll need one, if any thing , I'll end buying more PSU's, as i go, for now won't need one .

Had I known you had more S3's to sell the other week I would have grabbed them in a second! If you don't end up selling them, then please keep me in mind. Bump for a great honest seller, mindtrip is the real deal.

We discussed this in the past, a midpoint won't work. Thanks though, but even if we figured this out now, months later, at this point i'm thinking of just saving up for a current gen miner.

Just received my C1 Excellent packaging job i must say. Haven't tried it out yet. But looks to be in good shape..:) Thanks I will let you know how it hashes later tonight.

mine comes tomorrow it was sent today but i also live maybe one to two states away .

Man this thing puts out some heat that's for sure LOL. almost twice as much as my three s3's combined.

all ways wanted one, mines up and running . I'm gonna replace the pump and radiator to one that stands up and a better pump, but it's fun all ready .not the kit from china.

I have all 8 PCEI cables plunged in and plug the pump in the same PSU it's on a 2000 watt blade center PSU over kill i know but it works.

$70 + Shipping is a fair price I sold 5 at that price

Makes, me want to put my old  Zeus miners on WC , it's very temping to try, Polly cost a ton, I think the hardest part would be the water blocks for Zeus miners or all most any miner that uses those big ass sinks to air cool .

EVEN thought about using  Deionized Water over distilled water till i saw the Price of  Deionized Water. I'll stick to distilled water with http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L5IXKYE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 even thu Deionized Water, looks to be better for this type of use, the Cost for one gallon of Deionized Water.    WOW, to me that's a big wow 16.50 for one gallon of Deionized Water, I can only find online, over one gallon of distilled water, cost 1.99 or less, at your local drag store etc .


I Know, I don't need a gallon but would like to have that much on hand at all times.

It is still awesome. Been running for almost a week I think and still showing a 0.0001 hw error rate. I am seeing a x on the 4th board but most likely because I only have 4 plugs plugged in.

The unit it self is SUPER Quite. But My 1000 watt server PSU is louder than ever LOL. Do regural power supply sound as loud as server psu's?

Do reboot that should go way it's a firmware issue they never really fixed unless there is something wrong with yours. mine are not loud at all i guess it depends what server psu you use.

and mine never max out . maybe another reason why there not loud , i do have two server PSUs I don't use that are very loud, when you start them and stay that way.


no ATX PSU are very quiet unless it's made cheap even at full load. .

This miner is also software voltage adjustable so if you see the X on a chip you can try like you said putting a power cable on that blade see if that makes a difference or you can step up the voltage just a touch remember these are basically overclocked S3 blades and when they first shipped the voltage was to low then a FW update from Bitmain OC'd the voltage a touch to keep them stable.

I used to use these to warm my house in the winter was the least noisy miner bitmain ever made i wish they brought the water-cooling back on some S7's there WAY to Load!!
