That is the nicest thing you've ever said to me  :-*

I think it was a good interview, the more technical stuff could have been answered better, and that is only cause Charlie is on the foundation, and needs to be held to that higher standard of knowing the technical stuff deeply.

There were a few stumbling points, but doing a 40 minute live interview is not easy no matter how much of an expert you are. I thought he did very well.

Great interview, thought it was great. Spreads the word to all of Adams followers as well.

I can only hope that, one day, I will be able to explain it as well.

Bad camera angles distract from the quality of the interview.

Next time you should position your camera in such a way that when you're looking at the interviewer you're also looking at the camera.

I enjoyed that interview very much, Yankee/Charlie.

I'm goin' to leave Adam's YT stats here so they could be revisited for further comparison.

Whats funny is I didn't know I was being videoed until halfway thru. I almost picked my nose!

131 lines of code?

I meant it sarcastically to convey "Bitcoin isn't a whole mega hard to understand code base, and that its open source for anyone to analyze"

131 was just a number that popped into my head lol but I think they got the point.

A friend of mine can never go to New Jersey because of an arrest warrant out on him. He caught police beating up someone and they tried destroying his phone but he has the memory card and put it on youtube.

Apparently, it's illegal to film a police officer.

Are your sure it is actually illegal to film a police officer in the United States? http://technorati.com/technology/article/federal-courts-rule-it-is-not/ (http://technorati.com/technology/article/federal-courts-rule-it-is-not/)

I'm not, thats just what he told me.

From this link, looks like it recently upheld its legality

In Canada a very famous case was Robert Dziekański who was Tasered to death 5 years ago in Vancouver International Airport by the RCMP. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Dzieka%C5%84ski_Taser_incident (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Dzieka%C5%84ski_Taser_incident). The incident was filmed by a bystander and the police took that camera and the video card and then subsequently returned the camera with a new video card. They were subsequently forced to return the video of the incident by the courts. The video was critical in the subsequent investigation and legal action.

This is a case that demonstrated the importance of citizens being able to film the police in order to protect civil liberties. It is not uncommon in these kind of situations for the police to try to suppress the video even if the law in on the side of the citizen taking the video, so it is not surprising that many have the impression that it is illegal to film the police.  By the way it also works both ways. During the Recent Vancouver Stanley Cup riot many of the rioters were caught due to filming by citizens of the rioters in action.

Yes, also an equal level of camera and you is desirable, otherwise you would look down on the viewer (if camera is positioned too low) or awkwardly up to him/her.

But you said 131 super matter-of-factly, lol.

All of that's fine if you're organising the recording of something yourself.  When you're invited to appear on someone else's turf, you don't usually get to call the shots regarding camera angles, lighting or anything else unless you're a mega-star.

I liked the interview.  Some statements about halfway through wrt. commitment to Bitcoin ideals showed large balls.  My opinion of Charlie as an enterprerneur (and Bitinstant as a service) has always been very positive, but after seeing this I now also have a positive opinion of him as as Bitcoin ideologist and advocate.

Great job Charlie! It's great to see Adam enthusiastic as well. I sent over a few coins to his show just for that.

It looked like the interview was talking place via Skype, so it was definately Yankee's camera that was recording him.

In my opinion, you didn't seem to have a strong grasp of how bitcoin works technically, and it made me almost uneasy to think you are on the board of TBF. I'm sure you know how it works better than I do, but this interview did not expose that fact.

In my opinion he does, and his comments were sometime way over his audience could understand, you could see it on their faces.

You made any interview lately LightRider?

My job is to bring the complexities of Bitcoin down to the consumer level, to increase adoption and show utility in the currency and payment system.

Depending on my audience, I usually focus the conversation around economics, finance, technical integration, cryptography and other areas.

Some areas, my knowledge and understanding is better then others and I take every opportunity to learn more and deepen my understanding.

Being on the board allows me to speak, interact and learn from some of the brightest minds in the world and I look forward to more opportunities.

If you have a specific area of expertise that you think I am lacking, I would love to have some coffee or chat over the phone with you  :)

-Charlie

Oh how I wish bitcoin was only 131 lines of code...

It was a good interview but indeed some of the information was wrong.
