Hi guys,
I wanted to mine bitcoins but i can't mine them on my Laptop via GPU and pool mining is not profitable
so i would like to mine altcoins that can be easily mined on laptop and then i will trade them for bitcoins so please help me guys and tell me such coins?

IMO, if you really wanted to mine alt coin, then you should try minergate (http://www.minergate.com) and try the 'smart mining' option on it

whatever "the" profitable coin is, is constantly changing so you need to keep up mining profitability calculators and could also use coin market cap type sites to quickly see trends.

That's like taking a shower without getting wet.

If there is a profitable coin, it's not easy to mine as many other miners will also mine it and you compete with all of them.
Being profitable can either be achieved with a lot of hashpower (private mining farm) on coins with a more or less stable coin
or mining less profitable coins on stock and selling them during a pump or a general price increase (so you need to do som research which coin have potential).

So that means you have to invest money/time? Yes, nobody said mining is an easy profit machine

Don't do it it will only consume your time and energy! Better start trading, it is way more profitable

5. Add your User (worker name) and Password to miner rental
6. Sell the CryptoBullion (CBX) that you mined when the price is right.

Try it out for three hours. If you want to earn  0.005BTC per day just sell high and rent more miners.

Oh, you can always join a multi pool and let them auto switch you to the most profitable coin.

i am new to altcoin mining and want to know which software i can use to mine easily without wasting much power..and tell me if i can just mine enough altcoins to exchange them for 0.005 bitcoin per day if i have a decent GPU?

Use sgminer software if you have an AMD GPU . . . use ccminer if you have a NVIDIA GPU.

To expand on that or give you more information I need to know your Operating System (Windows 8, Linux) and the GPU card you have.

In general you are right, but what will happen (at least to PoW coins) when all miners stop mining? I don't think it's always the best advice to prevent people from mining, the problem I see is that they mostly expect a big profit.

This is stating the obvious but I'll do it anyway:

What would happen is that diff would drop and profit would rise, people get greedy and rush back into the mining game. diff rises and we are back at square 1, where mining is unprofitable unless you got free electricity.
