Title: What are the reasons to breach the us army oath?

Quote
§ 502. Enlistment oath: who may administer

(a) Enlistment Oath.— Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following oath:
"I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

If the enemy foreign or domestic take over the presidency, how can the us army not work for it's own downfall? it would be the perfect trap, putting an enemy as potus and you loop the us army to serve their enemy. some can say that jfk was ousted, but more technically what are the legal recourse that the usarmy can do once the looping is in place.

for example usama ben laden becomes president of the usa. then what next?

Many people are in the US military for the money and benefits. Almost all of them will shutup and do as they are told.

There is no duration defined in the Oath itself. The term of service for each enlisted person is written on the DD Form 4 series, the contract which specifies the enlistment period.

How can you describe somebody who constitutionally takes over as the President of the US, as "enemy" (domestic or otherwise).
The President reflects the will of the people and it is the job of the army to follow his orders.
