You should really try not to have false positives. Hell, I got burned this weekend with Hive, which passed virustotal. You can never be too careful.

Dev please tell me how "Transactions are lightning-fast at just 60 seconds confirmation time." While the block time is 6 minutes?

At first glance each of those 4 are false positives for the in-wallet solo miner.

However, given the recent issues with most miner-friendly new launches having trojans in the wallets, it would have been a good idea to develop this wallet so it didn't trigger these false positives.

I started mining 17 minutes ago - not a single block generated in the last 17 minutes - not off to a good start...

but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

unless if's a wdc clone which goes dormant for 20 to 30 minutes then pops tons of blocks in a short spurt

Hi, I dont think the os x client has been released yet, you can rent some hashpower though.

it finally generated block 13 after 25 minutes of mining and I snagged it, but clearly the coin needs to be fixed or just forked with kgw added and start all over. I can't recommend anyone mine the coin right now. I'm pulling my hash.

sad part is that I really liked the coin and what the dev did in terms of no ico and a very small premine.

It started moving now diff also adjusted to 29. I guess there were hell of a hash on it at start and the diff just shot up.

well in op it is stated 6 minute block time so right now it is as it should be i guess

that would be good - although the diff between 16 and 17 was just one minute - i'll keep watching

difficulty jumped back to over 120 - it's no big deal if the dev is offline - he's a long time member and not going anywhere - a Hero Member in fact. - he may be looking at the code for all we know to get the difficulty adjusted via a fork or something - no big deal.

I commend him on a nice coin - very few starts are flawless.

If he change Target timespan from 6 minutes to 60 will be better...

well there will be 1.4 million by the end of 12 days, (120k daily) and another 700k in the next 12 days so it wont be super rare. i guess it will be interesting how they plan on doing 60 seconds confirmation with 6 min blocktimes.

Of course with the given reward it won't be a super rare coin. The rarity in my perception for this coin states in the fact that there were no instamining where 100s of blocks were mined in the first 5 minutes of launch.

there's a lot of hash on this coin right now. The wallet is slow to report accurate network hash (like most wallets) but I'm guessing there's at least 3 to 4 gh/s on this coin right now.

I think diff is working right it just jumps up when big hash is connected. It settles down when no hash increase is detected. Now it is back at 139 at the same 8.4GH

I think that the diff isn't working well because the diff is based only of the last solved block
Target timespan       6 minutes
Target spacing      6 minutes
If we solve 2 blocks for few seconds the third block will be solved after hours(or maybe even days), because of diff jumping

So i checked this lightning fast transaction thing and it seems that it is not that fast as it requires 10 confirmations.

yup probably you are right i just downloaded the source to check some things, but without github it is a pain in the ass to find what i need.
