Title: Buying Bitcointalk Forum Accounts Post by: BehindU on September 30, 2015, 11:53:00 AM Heya Guys
What's actually the point on buying Forum Accounts? I don't quite understand it. Should it make you trustful? If yes, that makes no sense to me. If I knew, that everyone could just buy trusted Accounts and scam easily afterwards, I'd feel same as I'd buy from a completely new Member who has nothing to lose. I hope someone can explain lol, thanks Title: Re: Buying Bitcointalk Forum Accounts Post by: mexxer-2 on September 30, 2015, 11:55:52 AM People mostly buy accounts for earning from signature campaigns, and no most of the bought accouts aren't used for scamming except for some that have trusted rating. And nearly no one will expect you to go without an escrow thesedays so no trouble of scam, and yeah buying/selling accounts is not prohibited.

Could you explain me these "signature campaigns"? I hope someone can explain lol, thanks Your logic doesn't really make sense here. Older or trusted members here usually don't sell or scam from their accounts because they have something to lose, whereas a newbie doesn't. If you want to trade and are unsure how trustworthy the member is use an escrow - that's the whole point of them. Any account on any website could be hacked stolen or sold so you shouldn't just blindly trust someone because they're a Senior/Hero account or have a bit of feedback etc. Title: Re: Buying Bitcointalk Forum Accounts Post by: BehindU on September 30, 2015, 01:30:28 PM If I knew, that everyone could just buy trusted Accounts and scam easily afterwards, I'd feel same as I'd buy from a completely new Member who has nothing to lose. WHY accounts are being bought/sold. I've seen a few Accounts being sold yet and my question was why. As I already said, for selling/scamming purposes wouldn't make sense, because if I knew that "trusted/older" accounts are being sold you can't trust anyone. I hope you know what I mean lol. I hope someone can explain lol, thanks Generally, forum accounts are bought for participating in signature campaigns in which you get paid for the posts you make wearing the particular signature while on the forum. There are also others who buy an account with potential activity and make posts and sell them at a higher price later. No, it won't make you trustful rather makes your account suspicious. People are less likely to trust a person whose account changed hands multiple times. Buying and trading accounts (just once is okay, I think) is generally discouraged, and it is possible that the original owner may be able to reset the account back by proving the ownership in any other way, generally by signing a linked address. Use escrow at all times, even if you are dealing with a Legendary member on DT.
