what mainboard is the best for a pure mining rig? how many pcie slots do you have and how many dual slot graphic cards can you insert? what is the cheapest main cpu / minimal ram size you use? Remember to use a case with 8 expansion slots, if you're putting it into a case. I just brought this card after forum recommendations... looks like the dogs bollocks and isnt badly priced either... dont forget your pcie extenders! You can get much cheaper motherboards with 5 cramped together x16 and x1 slots, and just use extenders to space them out.

Because there's literally 1mm space between the cards. I guess you guys need to invest in some water cooling! It's a one time purchase, that will last many builds. Even after you're done mining. You'd probably get more MH/s too! |
