Title: Where are you from and how is Bitcoin used in your country?
Post by: pilscoop on October 02, 2015, 08:59:41 PM
I'm from Venezuela.
Bitcoin is used mainly to bypass the harsh currency exchange controls enforced by the government.
Also electricity is super cheap in Venezuela so there are a lot of miners.
Tell me about you

Interesting topic to discuss.

I'm from the north of England and there is no retail outlets I know that use Bitcoin but there are a few traders in the area according to LocalBitcoins.

As far as I'm aware, the only real Bitcoin use is in London.

It's how it works in England.... everything is London based.

Trends and tech stuff hit London first and then the rest of the country gets it further down the line.

It will be interesting to see someone from London's opinion on it.

I am from Macedonia, and here there are a small number of people who have bitcoins and use them, mostly for online shopping. I hope that number will rise and bitcoin will be more used in everyday transactions.
