Nope, not with the formal allowing of bought/sold accounts.
Until (if) the community decides they have had enough of these trades and starts leaving Negative feedback on those that buy and sell, it's a moot point.

I don't think he will get a legendary account with this reputation, legendary accounts are already rare and for a scammer it seems like impossible

anyway left him neg trust and a post on his thread as a alert message for potential seller

I don't think there is anything to worry about right now , Legendary members usually are trusted and don't sell their accounts and even if they do , they always make sure they sell it to someone trusted .

Little bit off-topic : Didn't we have a scammer tag instead of coins on profile for scammers before ? I'am pretty sure I read it somewhere but can't find it anymore on this topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0 . It would be good if it comes back once again .

Yes we did, but I believe theymos removed it because he had to do it all manually.  There might have been another reason but I forgot, yeah it was a while ago.

The issue of scammers is really complex. Theymos has a good reason for which he is not supportive of banning scammers. I doubt that a exclusion from the rule would be made in this case (or any). The best thing that you can do when you identify a scammer is either: A) Make a thread in the Scam Accusations subforum with evidence; B) Message someone in DefaultTrust with the same evidence.
This is how I deal with the issue when I see a 'probable' scammer.

No; I've learned that most account sellers really just want to make a profit and don't quite care where their product goes to. I'm generalizing; I'm sure there are many account sellers who do care about who their account is sold to.

a user who have legendary member understand its value and know how it can used to scam others
its like giving control of atom bomb to a monkey,

another thing is most of the account sellers selling low level accounts, a legendary account is not easy to find

He just said that he wanted a legendary member account for the purpose of abusing the trust system. I think that's worth a ban, maybe. I'm not entirely sure what does and doesn't warrant a permanent ban (other than spamming).

No. I want to give a Neg Trust to people who let me trust whitout reason.

E prima di darmi dello scammer andate a leggere bene

They dont even understand how the trust system works. Buying a legendary with green trust does nothing towards your ratings. If anything they would need to buy an account that is on DT.

Buying a legendary member with a +ve trust that is not on DT doesn't affect the trust ratings of a person. Also, I think that that certain user doesn't deserve a ban, because selling of accounts is allowed though discouraged in this forum

He'll be pretty disappointed when he founds out that a legendary account with green trust hands out the same trust as his current account since they both won't be on DT. I'd just let him waste a bunch of BTC.

Also, I don't think anybody with DT will sell his account to him. No need to worry about that.

I'm still hero but I can't imagine parting with account.  It may seem odd but it's kinda part of me at this point I enjoy it.  I would hate to loose it.  Even if I got less active I still could not bring myself to ever sell.

And if you sold your account and it's used in a scam a good amount of people would think you were in on it.  This is something I would not want either.

I would like to see stat's but I doubt many legendary accounts have been sold.  I'm sure there are a few but it has to be a small amount.

Accounts on all levels are bought and sold.

Even a VIP, Tradefotress sold his VIP account to Quickseller a while back.
